A bit sparse on the details here...information is going to be released soon :) streamers/ content creaters will be getting the switch in the coming days!

ahahah you get me! nah really tho il be updating this IC in the coming days!A bit sparse on the details here...
Psh - there's plenty!
It's "sophisticated".
It's "unique".
It's the "tactile to end all tactile switches!"
With so many switches available, I think it’s better to be upfront about what you’re offering. I don’t think it’s fair getting people to run around chasing content creators just to hear basic info such as bottom out and materials. If people are interested, they’ll find the content.i 100% agree with you! this page right now is just a teaser till i finish setting up my website and transfer all the information over to the IC! in the next couple of days this will be updated with everything!
Where is all the information?hey fran! all the information will be updated soon! i made this IC this early because some memebers in the builtbynim community wanted to see more rendors of the product! instead of spamming instagram i just posted all here! il update everything soon!
If you are going to even bother to post a ic for a switch at least post the specs this feels like a waste of time checking out since all we know right now is that its a tactile, double stage spring and noctua colorway :-Xhey hey! i actualy posted this like this because some members of the BBN community wanted to see more of the renders! instead of spamming instagram i just made it available to everyone while i updated everything slowly! also its not noctua colourway ;)
ahahah you get me! nah really tho il be updating this IC in the coming days!Just... post the IC when you actually have details to share? This is pointless and I couldn't care less about remembering to come back when you may or may not have updated it.
Is this a horse?not sure what you mean?
looks pretty cool, would appreciate a force graph or something to showcase the bump's feelit will be updated in the next couple of days :) stay tuned!!
ZZzzzzZZzzzzzzz right back atcha
"TACTILE TO END ALL TACTILE SWITCHES"you sound like a fun person! everything you have mentioned will be updated! i am one person with a full time job!
Barely any info, cursed color combo, no force curve, a pretentious description, use of a word "enthusiast" in an enthusiast driven forum, a typo in a very modestly sized IC, branded blend and lastly only a single vendor at the time of typing this.
It truly checks all the satire boxes but was unfortunately posted on march 23rd, not april 1st.
Would love to hear a soundtest, stock and lubed.Hey!! these switches are currently on rout to couple of stremers and content creaters :) id like for everyone to hear someone elses thoughts other than a soundtest produced by me :P sound tests will be available for everyone super soon!
Will there be any prelube from the factory?
Then perhaps don't post it until you have all the other info? "I'm one person with a full time job". Typing an IC doesn't take as much time as you are implying. Just stop."TACTILE TO END ALL TACTILE SWITCHES"you sound like a fun person! everything you have mentioned will be updated! i am one person with a full time job!

Guessing, based on your other switch being made by them, that this is going to be a Tecsee-produced switch? Will it be a new stem mold from them, or one of their existing ones? Or am I completely off-base in assuming they'll be the manu? Guess I should just wait and see.hey! yes it will another BBN project done with tecsee, the new moulds + materials for the housing were done in the BBN linear project and we will be using the same housing for this as well! (the sound profile and the smoothness we achieved was great and we want to continue that on to the tactile project as well) and for the stem it is an adapted version of an existing one :) il upload some photos of it on the IC for you guys! f
thats all thats needed :P nah i joke, the information is updated now!!A bit sparse on the details here...

I understand that this is easier for you, but it's important to note that how you present things articulates your integrity as the person running this IC. It would do well for you not to tilt the community you need to make this a success. If you treat people like they should just be satisfied with anything and jump on board, they're not going to respond kindly. Your description of this switch also does come off as a bit "marketing" influenced and that implies you're just looking for a cash cow, even if that isn't your intent. People don't like that. Just describe the tactile in plain terms and let people decide if they like it.fair enough! but it is easier for me to update as i go! I do think you should've waited until you had everything together to post, and just sent whoever the photos separately if they weren't willing to wait. It's more professional and people will take you more seriously. I don't think you understand how many people try to run ICs and then are overwhelmed and don't fulfill, or fulfill poorly. Everyone is just trying to protect their best interest.
I realize that not everyone was nice with how they replied, but I would strongly consider taking a deep breath, doing away with being defensive, and accept the advice from the vets in the forum and admit that this wasn't executed well. You'll do better that way rather than pushing people to see your conduct and let this flop on principle. You're being told directly that this wasn't the way to go. Just accept the criticism and continue improving. You clearly believe in this project. People will see that as you correct things and make their own decisions.
With all that said, I am fond of having more tactiles. GLWIC, and I'll try to remember to revisit once there are soundtests up. I'll make a judgment about if it's worthy then.
Thanks for updating!
Thank you so much for this message, I completely understand everything you are saying! I’m still learning how to manage this forum and gaining experience as I run these projects! People can be mean without understanding other members situations and tbh that’s how every forum is these days and I’m learning how to navigate these situations and participate in a more positive manner :) I have updated the information and will continue to do so! I hope there is enough information now (I agree there wasn’t enough before :( ).I understand that this is easier for you, but it's important to note that how you present things articulates your integrity as the person running this IC. +1. Well said! :thumb:
I'm trying to mentally visualize the tactile bump here, so it basically comes on strong with minimal pre-travel, and then there's a second smaller tactile event towards the end of the travel? And its like a speed switch where the travel is shorter (<3mm vs ~4mm)?hey!! Okay so, you are pretty much on the money, BBN tactile will have a sharp quick initial tactile action followed by the resistive nature of the dual stage spring (that’s the second bump you are referring to) with these 2 motions you are getting a speed tactile feel with a lot of character (sharp tactile, resistive push down, snappy return) :) plus the unique sound profile BBN switches provide, it’s a great experience!!!
why the colors? seems like you're trying to emulate a frankenswitch, even though this is a production switch. maybe pretentious is a strong word in this case, but its definitely weird. i know that the bbn linears had the same colors, but i didn't like it then either. I'm not really bothered by it, but the question "why exactly does the switch have these colors" is good food for thought. maybe it has been addressed prior, idk. would love to hear it in that case.hey Nonnegaard! How are you! Okay so, the principal behind BBN is provide an alternative option to switches currently available on the market, BBN switches are designed through research in to sound profile and material selection! One of the reason we make franken switches is because we can’t get that nature/sound profile without combining multiple switches, we shouldn’t need to do that tbh if that characteristic is something we want we should be able to buy it, instead we have to buy multiple batches and combine wasting a lot of money!. BBN switches are not meant to be a “novelty switch” or a “meme” switch, BBN switches will be available in the market to give people the option to try something unique! With that principle we wanted to keep its look different, minimalistic and to the point!
Looking good nim! Nice to see an in stock drop for this one!hey hey!! TBH I don't believe community should have to wait 3 months for a batch of switches!!!
that is a very light tactile bump in the style of the old nk blueberry
Interesting. Considering sending switches to Theremingoat for review. Thanks!I will reach out to him! thank you!
the feel of the switch can't just be explained by the force curve unfortunately, it needs to be tried to understand!!that is a very light tactile bump in the style of the old nk blueberry
Just shifted over to actuate at 2mm. I was hoping for sharp.
that is a very light tactile bump in the style of the old nk blueberrynot exactly but I can see why you would think that!!
