I think standing out was the purpose of the color pack.

Well I understand that but I would think the legend would match. Oh well not a huge deal.

I agree that it was a questionable decision by Ivan (who after a bad experience seems to have come to the conclusion that he makes better decisions on his own with no interest checks or early feedback from the forums at all), but to be fair, it was in the mockups and has been discussed during the order phase in this thread, so it's kind of late to bring that up.

I have followed this thread from the start and seen all the text/no text talk. Just didn't realize the color pack went the traditional route. Again  not a big thing for me but something I noticed. Wondering if that enter was intentional though.

Yup that's what I thought too. The new dye subs look pretty cool. I was partial to the Japanese legend ones.

GMK had to dig deep through the tooling to find this old stuff. I don't think we can get any more retro than this with Cherry. I hope you guys like it, and appreciate the opportunity for something a little bit different.

The keyset has such a retro feel, that I feel like that would be most fitting.

I will be definitely on this GB once it starts. I'm liking the GMK after GMK buys. I've basically stopped buying anything from SP because the GMK buys have been so good.

Would the packs that are offered be the same as this buy, or would you allow the option to take it apart and only order the alphas / modifiers? I don't think I would use the alphas but I am loving the retro text on the mods.

I'll definitely buy a set. I really don't like the F-Keys, but I hope I can replace them with the add on packs (given they reach MOQ as well...)

What's the reason behind the second numpad enter key? I'd prefer if you included the "`~" and "\|" keys in both colors instead

Boards that I drew inspiration from on the new set are the G80-0312, Commodore PC-5/G80-0499 , NCR G80-0528, G80-0535, and Adler Dario models. I combined certain elements of layout, legend selection and colorways from those boards and blended them together to create something with massive retro appeal that is not a straight out repro.

The base set will be sold together, as it is cheaper that way than piecemeal. There are duplicates of some keys due to them being different row profiles. A profile bottom row, F profile function row are included by default.

Love it. Probably won't love the price though haha. With so many keys in the adapter kits won't they cost a pretty hefty price? I'm glad I see HHKB layout compatibility though! Thanks IVAN!

Did you buy a Novatouch just to harvest the stems?  They needs to just sell the stems for that ****in thing...

Basically, now I have a NovaTouch with half MX and half normal Topre stems. The only thing not swapped is the spacebar – I'm not sure how to swap the stabilizer stems.

After swapping the stems in the FC660C and silencing them using the EK soft landing pads I think I have my new favorite keyboard. It will be hard going back to MX switches!
