LED window is just a difference in rendering. The classic coloured escapes are obviously still there, but the other ones indeed aren't. Did those even succeed with the original GB? I don't think I have ever seen them arround and I must say I don't find them to be especially good looking.

I really wanted to give a total count, but I haven't heard from the Chinese proxy or Singapore proxy yet :/
Either way with numbers from hours ago and missing 2 proxies, we are still at 118 base kits, 74 Add-on kits and 82 spacebar kits. Pretty safe to say that in the meantime 30 new orders have come in combined with the total orders from China and Singapore, so you can safely say we have hit MOQ in less than 24hs :thumb: :thumb: I'm pretty confident that 250 base kits will be met!

We tried to match them as much as we could. The issue is that things like paracord and fabric tend to be very vibrant and colourful, while 9009 colours are quite calm and toned down. I'm pretty pleased with the green used though, and am confident it will be a good match IRL :)

I came across a post on r/mk where someone had made a DIY cable, and had found some heatshrink that matches the green and pink of 9009 quite well... That's definitely the way to go about it - and the way I always handle it if it's on Massdrop - however, with this being an instant charge method by the websites involved, it makes it a bit more cumbersome to do adopt that tactic.
As such, it'd be great if Janglad and/or the rest of his partners posted regular updates regarding the status of the GB and the numbers associated with each kit. It's not AS big of a deal _right now_ as we're still at the start of the GB but later on, once sales start to slow down, it'd be very nice to keep people updated and on their toes so that further goals can be met.
If people see 400 then we'll for sure hit 500, etc etc.

GB's are usually a month because of that stagger issue, might be worth to consider.

Those correct symbols are used in European versions of vintage keyboards, I wonder why American versions use the other ugly ones, Do Europeans have a better taste? really.

We're still waiting for a pretty large amount of money to clear on the US proxy side. Even though Garrett contacted PayPal in advance explaining what was going to happen and they told him it was fine, a large amount of money still didn't end up clearing immediately. This will sadly move the whole timeline up a bit. I'm working on the last steps for setting up the GMK invoice for other vendors right now, meaning that as soon as the money clears we should be golded to put the order in!
I want to apologise for not being as active as I was in the beginning stages of this GB, I have been beeing quite busy IRL... I should be able to update you all to say the order is put in soon!!!! :)

Another update, after the PayPal issues have gone away we're now having some slight issues with bank transfer on the US side. We just never expected this to get this big :p However, we're looking at paying the invoice this week for sure!!

I'll be putting my set on my beige FC660C with MX sliders to begin with - having a hard time coming up with a custom for it because all my boards are either a. black or b. whacky colours. I don't own anything in silver and have no plans to so I'm hoping I find a project I like that offers powdercoated/cerakote white or beige.
Maybe it'll go well with one of my black cases even, who knows.

As for the invoice, it has indeed been paid by all vendors :thumb:. First little present by GMK is this updated base kit:

As you see they added quite some keys for compatibility with the Q70, all for the extra price of €0,00! The main one for most people here is probably the off-centre 6u spacebar. I know it must suck if you didn't get into the GB because you needed that and now see it's added for free, but I only knew this after the GB ended too... Either way, some vendors will have limited extras if you still really want a set :)

The lead guy of that band, Varg Vikkens, kind of has a thing for burning down churches and leans quite far right. The music itself doesn't seem to be political though, which really makes this a case whether or not you should think of a bandname as pushing the agenda its lead artist seems to be known for in his home country.
That's a slippery slope though and honestly, following somebody though a forum and bringing it up in unrealted threads is annoying bull****.

The orders must've predominantly been in Europe, as the U.S. orders are already boxed and ready to ship, yet we have people without shipping notifications :p

I spoke to necromanx earlier and he said the plan was to get them all out last week but they "could simply not make it".
