yay for my prizes! boo for not making it to the mystery prize! so jelly. Thanks Zorb!

Haha this is how I'm feeling.  At first was like yes pick me pick me... Now I'm like noooo don't pick me [yet].  Definition of a win-win situation  ;D

I think the best sub-prize so far has been the zealio keychain... Such a nice little extra!

Congratulations to the winner of the very last day of the caplendar, DAVYtm!

A big thank you to all that participated! Even though it has been very stressfull at times, I still really enjoyed the caplendar, and I hope you did too! All the packages was sent out some days ago, so hopefully they'll start to arrive next week! :)

Thanks a ton for running the event Zorb. The Antares is too cool, what all is necessary to put the board together? (I see resistors, not sure what needs to be soldered). Going to plop Mr. Frost on there and use it as a fun mobile keyboard. Can't wait to add it to my collection :)

Glad you liked it! :D Those are diodes not resistors, and yes, you need to solder :P I recommend this guide: http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/brownfox-step-by-step-t6050.html
It may look difficult at first, bit after you've started it's easier than you may think! All that is needed to make a complete board is included in the kit :)

The designer of The Antares is me! I'm planning on having a small buy of maybe 10 units to see how well the whole process works/ to get some extra funds for ordering more parts. I'll probably make a new topic here at GH when I'm ready to sell the kits! :)

Would love to get in on it! Such a neat project. Really enjoyed being a part of the caplender, zorb, and thanks so much for running it! I've gotta imagine this was a lot more work than just running a normal giveaway. Was super fun, even when it switched from "ooh I hope I'm drawn today" to "ooh I hope I'm not drawn until the very end" :)

The security guard knows that all shenzhen packages go to my apt, but this was a new one.

Gollum escaping my main kb, few novelties.
122140-1

Moar pics of my stuff, still have to choose what switch type to build with, socket it, and either get some through-hole 4148's and make a plate, or save up for a 60% pcb, haven't decided yet. (Maybe a gh60?)
122142-2

122144-3

Thanks for the great raffle Zorb and Ziptyze! Looking forward to my first build  :D

I'm Planning on it. Mainly played w/ clears and browns so far
http://imgur.com/a/9200r

I'm assuming that z-cases play nicer w/ pcb's from looking at the pictures in the GB, are there any 60% pcb's that cost more like the phantom than the spirit? (only ~30$ difference, but whitefox and skidata+ left their mark)
Thanks again!

The sprit is probably cheapest without getting something from China, and if you can get in on Leandre's buy I think you can get a wkl around the same price. But yeah... Sprit is like $50. The phantom needs a controller which is why it's cheaper even though it's a tkl

Agreed, looks awesome!
