How much for a full keycap set from a Das II ? Black blank POM cherry profile. No apparent shine on them.
They've lost quite a lot of value from all the ones that recently sold at $60.. I'd say $50 for a good condition set. If it's really pristine, completely unused.. maybe $100.
I doubt taht an unused set would go for 100$ I think that 70 would be more accurate, but that's just my opinion.
Very busy with studies atm.

I am looking to buy a HHKB, but all my attempts have ended with people wanting MORE then buying one new from somewhere like Elite keyboards. How much should a used HHKB really be selling for? (assuming it is in good condition and comes with original box/caps/etc)

~200 shipped, like moose said. maybe even less depending on how shiny the spacebar is.

Typically they sell for $0.25-0.35/switch.

Unless they've been cleaned, lubed, sitckered etc. but even then most people don't want to may too much more for that.

This is what i thought. But so far my only solid offer was 210+shipping. Might as well pay the extra few bucks for a brand new in box one at that point.

That doesn't look like any G80 I've ever seen.  More like a Zenith ISO with an AT connection.  What switches does it have? I'm guessing Linear Green Alps.

Caps are definitely Cherry ABS caps.  They posted on DT as well where G80 was confirmed.

I guess I couldn't see the forest for the trees.  There goes my guess on the switch type as well.

edit:  For those other than myself who don't frequent DT, here is the link that nubbs refers to.

Price Check KBT Pure 60%, Cherry clear switches, leds added, SIP socket mod done ie leds changeable, comes with untouched stock caps as well as transparent polycarbonate caps (for the lights). Currently with slow blink LEDs ie auto cycle through all colours.

Either stock casing with stock black cable or brand new blue aluminium casing with metal bumpons and blue cable.

Burn in 24 hours complete ie works fine and tested.

Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

I found this keyboard. It appears to be some sort of RAFI keyboard, and I think the switches might be RAFI RS 76 M, but I can't tell for sure. Does anyone know anything more about it?

The last set of similar Rafi boards I saw on eBay were being sold at $40-60 shipped and no one was biting.  I'd say $15-20 + shipping.

I had one that he made for me because I asked him in advance, and mine cost me 8$ shipped, just like in the sale. I sold it for 30 w/ shipping because somebody offered it to me without me even asking, and then I ran across it in a picture and asked someone about it, and he paid 35 shipped for it.

I haven't paid anything for any keycaps yet, I'm just having trouble getting a collection together to be able to trade with other owners/collectors, and I wanted to know what a "reasonable" offer might be (to hopefully avoid insulting anybody with my ignorance).

That's awesome man, I'm jealous - honestly I'd never even thought to message a maker like that (and doubt that I will until I have a more basic understanding of the craft and caps they're making. Thanks for the info

Is it yellowed or is that just the white balance?

If used, are there any permanent marks/scratches and are the keycaps shiny at all?

Used, for sure.

I have **** yellow lighting in that room, more than likely the pictures.

Spacebar seems shiny as hell up close. The rest of the keys don't seem to have a shine to them, but this was used. I don't really have an eye for grading keycaps, so take that with a grain of a salt.

There's also a minor dent right over the numpad, that I just noticed is covered up by that damn cable. That's helpful of me not to notice until now.

The thing with Cherries is that you have two markets. Sane people and insane people.

If you want to sell to someone sane.. $100-150

If you want to sell to someone insane with more money than sense.. $175-225

NIB ones can sell for about $350. The keys with the LED windows (lock keys and Cherry logo) are pretty valuable on their own.

You'll probably get more mileage out of trades than cash. Think they retail for $15, and like any other one-off pieces of art, they're not really something that can be appraised.

In the US, $50 + shipping is a good deal, and $100 is commonplace.

But there is always the chance of getting lucky. A month ago, Chyros in England got a new-in-box, true-ANSI layout for 5 pounds or something ridiculous like that.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

What can I expect to pay for a blue Alps keyboard in any condition?

In the US, $50 + shipping is a good deal, and $100 is commonplace.

The Acer KB-101A? If I get one of those I won't even use it as a donor board, I'd just use it. That thing looks glorious.
Thanks for your response.

Price check on an NCR G81-3077 case, modded with a G80-3000 MX Black PCB. PS/2 plug and no work on the switches. Marginally yellowed on the right side. Age of components unknown.102689-0102691-1

Are the keycaps doubleshot (are there two colours on the underside of the keycap)?

Is there any shine/loss of texture on the keycaps?

Unless the keycaps are dyesub $300 is too high.

Oh oh. You 're saying number row is Double shot or whole caps?
If whole caps is double shot, 200$ is worth? or lower?
