There seems to be a person on zFrontier who is copying the Swiss design. They never contacted me and I don't approve of this. Also its clearly a copy as they even went as far as to replicate the holes placed as close they could...
If you know these people please ask them to stop. Also their motive seems to be because they don't know if Swiss will be available in china: It will be! KBDfans has agreed to proxy it.
Link to the zFrontier page, I do ask you to please not harass or in anyway be mean to the creator. https://www.zfrontier.com/app/flow/DrGmk6kvKm03

Sorry for the long silence, I'm still figuring out PCB quirks and its taking a lot of time with communication, hopefully its all cleared up now and I'll finally get a functioning proto PCB :P

Filled the form, is it possible to release the plate file so I can source a carbon fiber one locally?

My friend who has access to carbon fiber sourcing confirmed that making a keyboard plate is possible, just to confirm the plate thickness on the Swiss will be 1.5 mm?

UPDATE
I finally got the PCB and was able to build the Proto. It looks fantastic and just how I want it to be, however I'm very unhappy with the sound. For this reason I am redesigning the Case and filling up the inside to make it less hollow and remove the metallic noise currently present. I also am removing the center mounting points reducing it from a total of 8 to a total of 4, making for a more bouncy typing experience. If you dislike this, keep in mind a brass plate will be available. These changes will then require a 3rd proto to be made! Until then enjoy these pics and join my discord to have to most up to date info!

I was this close to buy the copycat's product, well, "buy" would be an overstatement since that guy ask for a full payment to his personal account and 3 month's production schedule.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY dig this design, hope to get it asap.

It might be better if it supports via and split spacebar. But I'm totally fine with current set.

Thank you for making this come true.

Mental. If you ever decide to revisit this in a TKL or larger format, I'm sure my cheesehead granddad would love one.

Will R2 be the Dutch cheese version? ;).

Tagging along with half an eye. Maybe if price is right to own. Close enough to Dutch cheese :).

POLL, please participate

Hey, Long time to see. Quick update to show that I'm still working on things and haven't abandoned this project:
I got new quotes with the factory and they became significantly more expensive, the original quotes were very weirdly cheap...
The board now is in the regions of costing over 400 usd, which is not my goal. This is where I would like to ask you for help by filling out this quick poll. Please fill out if you're considering getting the board:

Re: [IC] Swiss | A Cheese Keyboard! Please Vote on the Poll (14 October)

Update on the poll:
No Brass won with 32%, 43% voted for they don't care meaning it ended up being close, I chose to end up doing no brass as the price with brass would've gone well over 420 Euros sale price. This way we should be able to keep it under 350 Euros, assuming there won't be a huge rise in material costs. I had the board redesigned and got an estimate and am ordering the hopefully final prototype! Will follow up with renders soon!

Long time no Update:

The board is done and the way I like it, However:
The current situation in the world is causing the prices of costs to soar and making this board too expensive for what it is. For that reason I'm waiting until things become a bit more affordable to finally go into GB. I'm sorry for the long wait!

This looks so cool.

I hope you do like a matte cerakote yellow for it to simulate cheese. Shiny anodizing would take away from the cartoonish feeling of it which I think gives it character.

The machining on this must be crazy!

Thank you so much to Cheese Turbulence for making this wonderful review. Please note the protos he had are still heavily flawed and I am making one last one to show before finally launching the GB projected to be in Q1 of 2023!

lmao ain't no way it's a cheese keyboard! In all honesty it's a funny idea but really don't know if the novelty of it justifies the price tag.
