It all started on another foreign forum, where I discovered the mechanical keyboards and MX switches. Following this I've requested my work to get me blank DAS Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown, and luckily the request was approved. Since I got the keyboard I was always wondering how do other MX switches feel and react.
So I decided to MOD my keyboard.
The MOD it self consists in unsoldering Brown MX Switches and soldering back another standard and modded switches.
The main changes are the following:
All "F" keys are MX Blue
ESC key is MX Blue with grey Spring
Arrow keys and adjustment keys are Ghetto Reds (Black with Brown spring)
Numeric signs on the NumPad are MX Blues with Brown spring.
Couple Clear Switches and some other few modifications here and there.
Also The article covers the basics of the Cherry MX Switch built.
