Been looking into some BIFL boots and am pretty sure on a pair of Vibeg but the price is deterring me a bit. Anyone own a pair of Vi's care to comment on whether they are worth the purchase?

in non-civilised too... except for three countries.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Got a new pair of kicks in the mail today! Going to probably wait until after spring to wear them, don't want all the slush and salt to ruin them right now.

Not sure, check out their site.
Btw, those shoes aren't any leather, more like a suede fabric.

I wore the Cav Fanatics (I call them Redskins heh) LeBron VII's for my 30th this Saturday.  Another super limited pair.

They matched my cake real nice.

Ok, I am the only one who thinks these are hot as hell?

http://sneakerbardetroit.com/2013/02/air-jordan-year-of-the-snake-pack-release-update/

If anyone in the sneaker world knows where these are going to be released...I think the 2nd release was pushed back the 9th...lemme know. I'm in nowhere Ontario and don't think I have any way to get them other than eBay marked up, unless I find some sort of amazing proxy.
I can try to proxy for you, i don't like them, but i do like the Melo 9 colorway they have lol
but i ain't waiting on line for any of them, if they for sale online, i'll grab one then ship to you if you want.

I myself just got a pair of Jordan 1 Chicagos, but i won't wear them till after the slush season.
Work-shoes right now are Timbs when its slushy/snowing/raining, and my comfortable Ecco shoes for normal time.
Casual is my Reebok Ziggtek, the ziggtek shoes are surprisingly comfortable lol

*EDIT*

hype for today is the Jordan 3 88 Cement release, goes for sale 4:51 EST at $200.00 online only
lets see the computer servers crash haha

if they doin the same as they doin for Jordan 3 today, it'll be online only
nike doesn't want the bad pub of some idiot killing someone at some store for these shoes, so jordan 3 cement is online only.

Yea, it gets crazy...never though people would probably riot for shoes. Although so many sick releases coming out so soon.

Ok, so usually I wear dark shoes, mainly black with hardly any colour on them other than maybe a tick or something, so recently I decided to change that sort of, I got some shoes in the post today, they are inspired by Oscar the Grouch;

and last week I got these;

 and yeah, as you can see, I am not into real girly shoes :P

Or maybe inspired by CCnG (first one) and Toxic (second one)?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Infrared 90s, very nice xredman classic shoe.

Also glad you were able to pick up your shoes Halv!  Some pretty crazy ones.  Finishline just had a pretty crazy restock on some stuff the other day, some were saying to cheer people up for missing out on the 88's.

Am I think only one who doesn't understand the apparently huge following for late 80s, early 90s high tops? They just look huge, clunky, and ungainly to me.

I don't ever see them out and about, but it's every other post in here it seems :)

I am not into shoes, at all, being a grumpy old man, but I never liked high tops.

My feet tend to be hot and sweaty, and they just seemed all the more constricting.

I can see how they "look" pretty wicked, but I buy shoes for comfort.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"
