It looks great to me! I'm really pumped about this GB. Not sure if I want text or icon mods, so I may have to grab both :o

of course both! :)

After using my round 3 caps a bit I've discovered I'm not in love with the feel of DSA. But they're just so great looking I'll still probably end up picking up rgb icons, bonus, elven, and secondary legends.

I would prefer that the Ergodox kit be as cheap as possible, so I could spend more on the other kits that cover more layouts.

Yep  :D

Mine was on the front of Jack's planck website before he had the OLKB store setup.

Original keymapping:

Latest:

I didn't like dedicated arrow keys on a 40%. I normally run the red/blue blank 1u where the Doom caps are.

Yep  :D

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was hoping for more colorful planck mods. Theres only menu/diamond keys in colored 1u with the RGB(YO) pack. It would probably make that pack prohibitively expensive to add more keys to it though, so I'll be fine without. Unless enough people would be interested in a planck specific kit?

No problem.

Yeah, like you said, it's pretty niche. There was never an official Planck pack so it cost me be a fair bit of money and took some trading for me to get the legends I needed. Having optional colors ontop of that would push the price up even further OR make the RGBYO kit too expensive for the average user.

Still, unlike most keysets it is actually possible to get full legend support with Granite. So, major respect to Matt3o with the amount of kits he pushes out! While I don't type much on my Planck I love that the legends are all correct on it  :thumb:

yeah, unfortunately SP don't have ISO in DSA family, but DCS works just fine.

DCS ISO really go well with DSA.

I apologize if this has already been answered somewhere else, but why is the layout of the elven tongue set so different from the one from the original Elvish keycap set thread? https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=38264.msg842147#msg842147 My elvish writing friend (don't we all have one of those?) can't make as much sense of the newer one and the keys don't rearrange well because of the secondary legends.

the new Sindarin kit closely follows the standards of the tengwar TTFs you find around on the web. Basically it's easier to type in Sindarin this way.

Would it be possible to add a "ALT GRAPH" 1,25 to the text extreme modifiers kit?

No, one 1,25. I would like "ALT GRAPH" instead of just "ALT GR". Some might prefer "ALT GR" though since it fits on one row. "ALT GRAPH" on 1,25 would have to be two rows.

It sucks for ergodox users who want the red escape key to have to buy the text mods set, I personally liked the separate kit last time.

Still working on the ergodox kit.... but don't you need the text mods anyway? (for arrows, ins, end, pgup/dn, etc...)

Will there be any changes to the Ergodoxian kit?  Have you given any thought about rotating the legends 90 degrees on the = and - keys?

As an addition to the blank pack or extra homing kit, can you add a color matched home row key with a homing bump?
http://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-1-space-deep-dish-homing-bump-pack-of-4/

I'm getting basically no feedback for the ergodox, so far it's just you who chimed in... so I guess it's okay as it is. No offence, but of course I can't change it every time one person asks.

I went with media keys instead of the text mods because it was less expensive, but I definitely would have liked to have the tenkeys.

I really like the current ergodox mockup with all the 1u keys. This would have been awesome to have when I bought mine.

Edit: that said, I've already bought my granite keys so I can't buy another set. If actual customers prefer a lower price it might be beneficial

No comments on the keys. I'm pumped to buy way too many of these key packs.

I do have a layout recommendation. When you have a set of keys that comes in both text and icons (for example, text/icon mods), the icon keys should be in the same place as the text keys just for consistency.

For example, the icons in the "icon mods" pack bottom row should have the icons match the text pack of "Ctrl, super, alt, alt, etc...". This will make it easier for people like me to know what key each icon corresponds to.

Perhaps consider these?

1. Cyrillic.
2. Windows 1.0 logo to the Windows kit.
3. Beastie to the Extra OS Kit.
4. Steam logo to Bonus Pack.

Would adding the missing True Fox keys to the normal modifiers kit raise the price too much? I'm probably getting the RGB kit to cover it anyway, but getting all True Fox modifiers without having to buy the pro modifier kit kinda makes sense to me (the drop being recent and all).

Another suggestion on the whitefox theme: A complete whitefox kit (or is it an issue with having the same modifiers in the same kit?), preferably with the blue arrow keys included (and escape? don't remember).

Great to see that you will bundle colored mods with the basic modifiers!

Btw you're still considering the DCS profile option, right? I'm not sure that a DSA set would be comfortable for me... but I guess I will order it anyways, this will be my last chance to buy the best looking caps for my (hopefully endgame) board.

Oh, I almost forgot: what about some volume control buttons for the secondary legends pack? If you want to cover everything with the pack...

PBT DCS is really too thin, but I'm in talk for a cherry replica profile in PBT.

I've got an ErgoDox, but I don't use DSA on it anymore.  Common + Ergodoxian + (Text|Icon) Pro Modifiers looks sufficient for a default layout (even though the default layout is awful).

That being said, what about using non-Apple symbols for ALT?  ⌥ means option in Unicode, not alternate. I'd personally love to see ⎇ used instead for the ALT key.

I really despise the red legends on the Tengwar Sindarin kit; is there any chance of removing them?

No multimedia keys this time round? Or did I miss that?
The Alps cover 65% of Switzerland's surface area (41,285 km²), making it one of the most alpine countries. Despite the fact that Switzerland covers only 14% of the Alps total area (192,753 km²),[2][3] many alpine four-thousanders (48 of 82) are located in the Swiss Alps and practically all of the remaining few are within 20 km of the country's border.

I would very much like to see this kit.

On the Sindarin, I would vastly prefer a sendarin pure set, no English "cheat" subs printed on them.
