Oh... I thought max to win was three but you can pick as many as you want. Just assumed from other artisan sales.

Will keep that in mind!

Thought I would share here how my time has been spent the last couple weeks. I decided I wanted a benchtop injection molder to fool with and prototype with, and with the backing of one of my IRL friends we have decided to go ahead and purchase one of the nicer (in our price range) benchtop injection molding devices.

My first project with this is going to be PCB mount stabs. So before even purchasing the unit I decided to start with the mold design first as the machine itself is much easier to attain then getting a mold done.

My plan is to improve on the cherry PCB stab a little and be able to produce colored, clear and swirled stabs. I have spent a good amount of time so far re-creating a pre-clipped cherry stab in CAD and heres my progress so far:

This model is far from complete (especially the rear of the casing needs to be hollowed out more) but its pretty far along. There is some design aspects that im going to completely eliminate, but for now im just working on making a faithful recreation of the cherry stab before I go and re-design the innards.

Im looking for some input on what you guys think could improve the cherry PCB stabilizer. If you have any ideas please let me know, or let me know what you think!

Just imagine actual cool looking stabs instead of black. And I will be able to mold them out of other stuff besides ABS!!

Wow, I didn't realize something like this could be done. You'd have to have clear/translucent keycaps to make the most of it, but this is amazing!

Will these likely be sold in limited quantities by raffle like your caps?

Been away for a minuet. Basically got burnt out on all the artisans in the game and retreated into keyboard building and had some fun and now im back.

Status updates:

1) Although I put a **** ton of work into my stab design, its on hold indefinitely. I got quotes for tooling that wernt really that bad but were enough to make me realize that I would have to make/market/sell an absolute **** ton of them to make up the costs taking a huge amount of time that I just strait up dont have.

2) Due to popular demand, Lucky Cat is coming back with a vengeance, in MX, ALPS and soontm in Topre and/or TMX. The new Lucky Cat has an improved base and more precision in casting.

3) Im casting Duck feet, Duck feet inserts and ZZ96 leg inserts.

So look out for me in the near future.  :thumb:

Also please follow my Instagram! Its where i post most of my pictures!!

They are pretty cool when installed thats for sure. Figured out a decent way to make them fit the M3 screws. Bumpons are supposed to be arriving today. My cast Duck feet set will come drilled for screws with 4 flush mount screws and bumpons.

Heres a purple with light purple insert installed on one of my clueboard bottom plates, when i test fit them.

Not the best photo but you get the idea....  :thumb:

Lets try this on GH too! I wanted to do another give away today

To enter in today's give away you have to come up with a name for this colorway:

http://imgur.com/a/WjcZI

Keep it in the space theme if you can unless there's something that is amazing. References to space/scifi themes or film/tv are welcome.

I will choose the one I like the most between all the entrys on GH and Reddit, and that users entry will be used to name the colorway and he/she will receive one free! The other goes to the winner from the first giveaway! If they are all terrible I will go with Space Lord Lucky Cat :) Good luck!

You can enter up to 3 names!

This is also a reminder that the Galaxies Sale ends tomorrow at Noon MST!
