Oh, and it was in New Zealand. (Details...)

Looks like someone made the seller an offer they couldn't refuse, I was just discussing shipping with her - suddenly auction closed.

New here - this is my mum's auction! She's taken it down for now - once I go home (April) to visit I will remove the typewriter and place the keys/switches in the classifieds section so they can be shipped without hassle.

If you're the trademe user in Dunedin who let her know - thank you! Message me on here and I'll get back to you - it would be great to get these to someone who knows what to do with them and will enjoy them :)

No worries, pm me when you get home and I'll point you in the right direction. The keyboard PCB comes out as a separate unit that will be easy (-ier) to ship and you can remove the caps with a 5$ cap puller. The key caps will be perfect for someone building a plank with matias (or vintage alps) switches. I'd love to hear you explain to your mum how the rest of the unit is pretty much scrap value, but there are people really interested in the keyboard bits...   :D
