You KNOW in Germany they speak German riiiight? Or do you mean you must speak cantonese if you were to move to Macau?

I'd move to Canada if I could (my career would allow it later on).. but then I have to learn French as well.

No backyard YM?? It's totally worth the upfront investment and so many yummy recipes on YouTube...the only difficult part is - how close are you to an Asian market? =D

I live in a town with 5400 people and one single grocery store with 1/8 of an isle for "Asian" goods which is mostly just various dried noodles and canned sauces. I'm in an apartment I can literally spit across and I have a shared backyard :(

You'd be surprised, some people use spaghetti noodles to substitute egg noodles for lo mein..

Planning on looking for a new bigger place with the gf possibly this summer once I get into my new job at the saw mill a little more. I only start on Monday so I can't be house hunting just yet.  But when I do, I want a nice kitchen.

I know I know I'm kidding. I would like to have a real work and preseason it myself. The bare taste of "wokked" vegetables in a proper wok is amazing. It's so tasty I need nothing else. Not even sauce.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

TP HOW U LIKE MA CURRY MADE PICTURE FOR YOU:

(Attachment Link)

I just had lunch and I'm full, and now my mouth is watering.

Thanks.

It was AMAZING! Tried to mail you some then got bowl stuck in DVD player... what now? MY DVDS

If you tried to mail a bowl through a DVD player, what the fck did you put in that food?

Theoretically if he could get it into a disk shape, and pressure treated it, it may survive the high rpm dvd player.

But of course the more lazy method would be to turn it into a paste and pouring it into the dvd player front facing up.

Just made my own Pad Thai with Prawns and Tofu. Made the sauce from scratch this time instead of the pre-made garbage. WAAAAAAAYYYYY better folks, I'm getting closer to something edible.

Fish Sauce! + Palm Sugar, Tamarindo concentrate, Thai Sirachachi (not that **** they make in SoCal) + a little water, it wasn't salty enough so I had to add some salt. I was thinking about trying a little oyster sauce on the next run.. I'd be clashing the Thai with Chinese tho!

Planning on looking for a new bigger place with the gf possibly this summer once I get into my new job at the saw mill a little more. I only start on Monday so I can't be house hunting just yet.  But when I do, I want a nice kitchen.

OMG u work at a saw mill ?  I hurd it maximizes man card bonus points.. hahahahaha..

Do you get discount on timber if you work there ?

Do they dry it for you too , or does it come pre processed.
I can get lumber at cost but only if I buy a full bundle. The rough lumber goes through a large kiln for 40 hours to dry to a certain moisture percentage before it goes through the planer to get the edges rounded and all smooth. No pressure treated lumber at the mill in at.

I've worked there for 5 days so it's not how much muscle I've gained more so than the realization of how little muscle mass I currently have.

Sawdust smells ok. Sawdust soaked in hydraulic fluid does not. Especially when that's all you've been shovelling for 8 hours.

You don't like hydraulic fluid.?

I quite enjoy the smell of most cutting fluid.. which is similar..

Just want to remind everyone that fish sauce is VERY strong, you only need a tiny bit when cooking. I made the mistake of adding too much into my Pad Thai sauce yesterday and I'm pretty sure it gave me stomach cramps (I almost took a Midol). :D
