My First (Bad) Keycap Design (Early Design)

Got bored, designed this. Calling it "Corruption"

Meh. I wouldn't see it running as an actual set without a lot of work. I would say that the green on top is way brighter than any of the greys. As well, the delete key is always the color of the mods, while \| and ~` are not always the mod color. Just to keep those in mind.

Finally, the greens at the bottom look muddy and gross; though that's just personal opinion.

Yeah I have a whole lot of fine tuning to do with the colors. This was a really quick prototype. I think the fade out is way too gradual and so the bottom looks kinda nasty. Ill work with a bit more.

Dont know what font to use yet. I did a few experiments and I think that it looks better with a gradient for alphas and a solid color for modifiers/side keys. Just made this thing and I think it looks you're standing on mars looking into the sky in some sort of canyon

I'm really bad with colors, what do you think about a more neon or dark/natural shade of green? I'm never intending for this to even get any sort of attention either, I'm just having some fun

I know some 3d modeling but I'm just gonna scrap this whole thing and start from the ground up. The design is crap IMO

I wouldn't give up on the concept. Seems like it could go somewhere. Just needs some refinement and I can see it working pretty well. Gradient sets are always nice.

I'm partial to lime green/yellow green I think there is a severe lack of keysets utilizing that color. No white font on it though, that ruins it

Lime stuff, sorry if the colors are off this laptop monitor is bad
