Hello everyone! We have already posted this on reddit a few times, but wanted more attention so we could reach MOQ.

Expected Dates:

Prototype Available (with PrimeCaps artisan, keyboardwear sleeve, and ZAP!Cables cable: September 5th

(If IC goes well) GB Start: September 10th

GB End: October 10th

Manufacturing End: December-January

(Depending on how much QC we have to do) Shipped to you: Early February

Notes:

The DSA will be dyesubbed PBT

Dyesub requires darker legends than the base. You can't dyesub white letters onto a black key for instance, unless you do a reverse dye-sub.

Moreover, dye-sub legends don't look as good as double-shot legends. The only benefit to dyesubbing is if you are trying to do complex and/or multi-colored graphics/legends, which is not the case here. These should be double-shot, but it sounds like they're trying to get these out the door quickly and cheaply.

We want these to be at a reduced price to other keycap sets but also want PBT and a relativly fast production time. This will take about half as long if not less time than most SP sets and we will QC them all and any bad sets will be sent back to be remade.

But to my mind this is an aesthetic issue, not a QC issue.

But I'm sure there are plenty of folks who would gladly trade good double-shot legends in order to have PBT keycaps.

How is the IC going? I really like these colors and the theme. I will for sure buy a set if its relatively affordable.
