I've posted this IC on DT and Reddit. Links to those ICs are in the OP.

Really dig the AEK keysets and have yet to try XDA, definitely could jump in on this.

I'm really hoping this makes it to GB stage. Would be amazing if something like this could eventually be offered with Alps mounts as well. AEK and AEK II keycaps have those weird sideways, super long-stemmed function keys. Also for colored mods, maybe look at XDA Canvas color mods for inspiration? The muted colors turned out awesome.

I've updated the OP with some feedback I've received from the IC form. Thanks to everyone that's submitted the form, I've gotten a way bigger response than I was expecting  ;D .

+1. Would be my first Spanish MX set. I have been always using ANSI US International for ages, though.

Are those 4 keys the only 4 you need for enough Spanish support?

I found that the following keys are missing from your International kit to fully cover an Spanish layout, by using my ThinkPad keyboard as a reference:

[Ñ]

[\?]
[¿¡]
[Q@]

Yup, the Dogcow would be cool but it's in the same boat as Happy Mac and Sad Mac with copyright/trademark stuff. They're not actively used by Apple any more but they could easily still be trademarked

Was there much interest in 1976-style stripe option? My wife (who is sick of hearing about keyboards) even said she would want a set (and a keyboard to put them on) if they became a thing. Heh

55% want coloured mods, 19% want coloured text, the diagonal stripe was third with 15%. So it probably won't happen, sorry :(.

Way to colorfull for me :P I would just keep it yellow, orange and blue. Subtle colors, not vivid like the green and purple.

Exactly my thoughts, dimmed colors may do better justice to the monochromatic elegant nature of the base color.

Current colours are those of the old Apple logo. I don't really want to dim the colours since it'll look too much like Canvas. The idea was that you'd only use some of coloured mods to suit your own taste, I just added more to give people a choice.

I guess I could dim the colours a little if people really want that  :)).

I think the colors in the original Apple logo are too bright for full keys, maybe just the escape and enter, I'd use them instead for legends, for example on modifiers.

Well multiple and choose your own would work for me. I do feel that the mod kit would have to be big in that case though. At the very least like 3 different keys for each color.

I have been playing with some colors today, haven't really heard back from dr_derivative.

Personally i think we could make it with all colors from the Apple rainbow logo

Here's my latest creation (40% opacity of the apple colors), please feedback it :)

Now that I see it, I prefer the paler colours too :)) . I'll post a pic with coloured text later to compare, although not many people said they wanted coloured text in the IC.

Also, in case you hadn't guessed quaddepos is working with me on the set.

Might it be better to have all modifiers be colored, and then let people decide which ones to select for the layout? Like offer a gray modifier set and then a color modifier set. That way if someone only wanted to do an ESC and Enter, or Tab and Shift keys, or whatever, they can pick and choose.

That's the plan, we're just trying to decide where to put which colour. The accent kit will just contain the coloured keys shown in the images I posted.

Perhaps alphas should have different colour?  Lighter shade of grey would look better.

The grey colour will be matched to the AEK. They look a bit dark in these pictures but they will be lighter

Looks really cool. On the "command" key, would you consider doing the "open apple" icon rather than the text "cmnd" like on the old AEK and AEK II keyboards?
