Where to get a pcb, plate, case, etc?
« on: Tue, 03 February 2015, 21:43:12 »
I have a broken Razer blackwidow with mx browns.
I then heard about using a teensy to make a new controller as its one of the IC's that seems to have gone bad.
Then I thought why stop there.
So where can I find info on obtaining some parts to put one together from just the switches?
Eventually I'd like to order a pack of mx clears and try those.

Preferably full size as I like all the keys.

If you want a full size PCB then you could get a Phantom PCB from mechanicalkeyboards.com - the case and plate will have to be custom made though unless you can find someone willing to sell.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

You can also take a look at GON's keyboard works, 22kbd, winkeyless to get all these parts.
