Zhuyin with Simplified Chinese on the novelties?

wait i don’t understand what’s the problem with having zhuyin and the actual characters? like genuinely asking. also it’s traditional

edit: hold on the render says 新年快樂 but the kitting says 春节快乐?? should probably sort that out. not only is it a difference of traditional vs simplified, it also means different things (same festival but different wording) happy new year vs happy spring festival

also since this is a cny themed keycap set, do consider adding 倒福 (character ‘fu’ upside down) as a novelty instead of just 囍. oranges, red packets, lion dance, firecracker, etc also come to mind

春節 is another way of saying CNY/LNY so it wouldn't be the biggest problem if 春節 was used instead of 春节.
However I find Zhuyin sublegend with 春节快乐 offensive to some degree. Zhuyin is mainly used by Taiwanese, who use traditional Chinese character.

I also agree with your idea of 倒福. It is definitely something that should be in a lunar new year themed set

Also, adding Fai Chun to the deskmat seems better than just a plain red mat.

Two updates:

1) Prototypist as UK vendor

2) Spacebar kit with 'b' for alice is being considered

As always, feedback is appreciated.

Are you Chinese? Cause you used a symbol used for marriage 囍 rather than 福.

I like the idea of this set, but the design for the shuang xi looks a little wonky.  If you're committing to it I think you ought to consider bringing everything a little inwards and possibly connecting some of the horizontal lines, so that it looks more like a single character.

Or just go with a 福

I like this design, but I must say that the word "囍" is actually used for marriage rather than Chinese New Year.
The overlapping of the two "喜" words in the represents a happy event for the two families, not New Years.
I think replacing the 囍 with the reversed "福" or "春" would be more appropriate.
Hope it gives you some inspiration.

Update;

Sort of announcement of announcement but wanted to share.
More vendors are secured.
More kitting changes are incoming including likely Latin alphas and spacebar kit, tweaks to novelties.

Please look forward to it.

The base kit is missing R3 PgUp, R4 PgDn for 65% support, as well as F13.

The numpad kit is missing R1 PgDn, End for 1800/CP/96-key support.

Love this. Would love a Hibi Brass PVD in Gold SA R3 “ 囍” please. I request the r3 profile so that it will be more universal especially for single or double macro columns and maybe some could buy some for an entire macro column.  ;D
