D84 V2 vs KBD75 V3?
« on: Tue, 23 November 2021, 11:57:18 »
I have the gmmk pro right now and I’m in the market for a potential upgrade. I came to the conclusion that at the relative price point of under 300$ these two boards were the main stars. If anyone has experience with either board or both, is there a logical reason to prefer one over the other?

the other kbdfans d-series boards weren't really well received because the gasket implementation has been pretty scuffed (this is sort of true of all of the kbd boards that have used gasket mount). the 75v3.1 uses a pretty standard top mount, which is pretty hard to **** up. mounting and aesthetics are probably the biggest two factors to weigh. i'd probably go for the 75v3.1; looks nice, sounds nice, and is a little less expensive
