The anticipation is starting to get to me.  I've tried to get in to sales in the past but I always miss them.  I've been checking on my phone , tablet, and whatever else I can get my hands on all day (even at work).  I need a couple BROs in my life.

I'd love to get an artisan keycap. Unfortunately, it seems I either have the worst luck ever... or there's some inner group or "clique" of artisan keycap owners and the rest of us are just wasting our time. :) *shrug*

Don't get me wrong its sometimes very hard to get into some of these sales as there A LOT of people also trying to get into them and sometimes the times of the sales don't line up with your life. Today I wasn't able to get into the binge sale. I was at work and took my break right before 12 but due to a huge amount of people trying to get in it overloaded the server and I was unable to keep trying to get in. I have **** luck with sales to and yes there are people here that have known the artisans since before they were artisans so they have had the chance to get in on the bottom floor of things. Keep trying man you will eventually get yourself something you want. I have made 4 sales and I came away with 1 cap out of that and then only because it was a sale primarily for people that had no caps! Make some friends here and get to know some people and try not to get "to salty" its hard I have been there and it feels hopeless and like your outside looking in sometimes. Make sure to get notifications set up on all the correct threads sign up to the right web sites and be friendly . its the best advice I have .

To those who haven't won a Bro yet, do not fret. I was actually Bro less up until this February 2015 which is when I got my first raffle sale win. It was quite awesome and at first I thought i'd never be able to get one until the day when I actually got that email notification saying I have won.

Will anyone get to lick the rainbow?

The few of us who are successful will only be able to lick a tiny part of it.

I think im a little confused, with sales like bro caps its 24hr but do you enter and you are notified if you can buy one or three?
Is it not first come first serve? I guess a little clarification on how these sales actually work would be great

You add the caps you want to a list and then how many caps you'd like to buy. After the 24 hours are up winners are notified.

Edit: So yeah it's a raffle type sale.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

To add, say you list 2 caps, and you get drawn 11th. If there were only 5 caps made for the two you listed, and the first 10 pulled had those 2 same caps on their list, then you get nothing. People after you may get a cap, if they list different ones that they want and they haven't been purchased by an earlier winner.

You going to swim in them?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
