I'm working on a video game! Write me some quests!

Hello everyone! I'm working on a cool game right now, nary a title at the moment. (this is a hobby project that I've been developing for a couple of years now)

It's an RPG (in a many ways similar to Fallout 2) that takes place in like post-Colonial America (Cowboys, Indians, Settlers, etc.) combined with fantasy elements.

There are 5 towns, a mountain, a lake, and a grassy plain, each having 3 random-gen cave locations within them for the player to explore/quest in.

Quests are given at the towns, for the player to complete.

Title: Find Gabe
Description: A man has posted about a missing friend! You are tasked with finding his lost friend, Gabe, in (town1) (dungeon2).
Reward: 150xp 25gold

Title: New Adventurer
Description: As a new adventurer, you are challenged to kill 5 monsters, as well as find 10 gold.
Reward: 200xp 20 gold

Title: Bring me an Apple
Description: Bring an apple to the man from (town3). (the room containing the apple will be filled with lots of enemies)
Reward: 300xp 25 gold

Description: Climb to the top of Mt. Vernon and confront an old spirit. Learn there is no end game. Find your way down Mt. Vernon, and make it back to me. (The way up the mountain is a battle, the way down is easy. Maybe a slide 🤔).
Reward: 1xp 75 gold (with the gold you are sent to buy another weapon, maybe. Something endgame? hahahaha...)

I feel like, the world of video game has very little pull on me.

as if, I should be the one payed to play the game, not the other way around..



What are the ways to overcome this hurdle.. ?

imagine counterstrike, but with ads on walls in each map, with ads on the guns, sponsored replays, video ads that play while you're dead and you're waiting for the next round, etc etc

the game develops get money from the ad companies, and pass on a fraction of that to the gamers

I think you misunderstood my post.

My point is,  What do I get from playing your game..


When you're younger,   Through playing a game,   you have the simulated -life progress- aspect,  and sometimes you learn new things which is applicable to ones life.


When you're older,  you're employable, and can trade your time for more worthwhile things, money being the base..  and as for learning,  there's little left in the game world left to learn,  it's only ever been a set of very basic skills in different visual packages.



So in this instance,  games are not attractive for anyone who is enlightened to the fact that to play a game is an expense that does not give back.

Place a television in the game. Limit TV to only three channels. Place coin changing kiosks that convert coins to the in-game currency near gas stations. Rent warehouse and a backhoe loader to make a money pit full of quarters. Repeat process. Buy larger warehouse and backhoe loader for the money pit. Start coin changing kiosk corporation. Realize that you're living the life of a 90's cartoon character. Enter rehab for 90's cartoon addicts. Start a coin operated candy business that only sells candy bananas. Become addicted to candy bananas. Buy new teeth. Buy a TV limited to three channels. Place quarters in coin changing kiosks for in-game currency. Watch real TV and in-game TV simultaneously. Profit.
