is it just a case of us waiting for the support system to go live?

That makes sense though as you ordered via PM. They'll have a record of your order somewhere, and creating a support ticket makes it easy for them to keep track of it.

yeah basically everyone did

we use stripe to take payments via the site, only people who didnt pay via the site paid via paypal

ill be replying to your recent pm when im back form the park with my son later, but in short, the last screen of the declined transaction is what i have from you via stripe

which is why subsequent transactions were via paypal between you and me which we both have records of

when i reply to you later ill ask for additional details to perform more stripe checks for you (ie perhaps you used a different card under a different name after the first transaction was declined)

i assure you sir, i cant wait to get this over with between me and you, and there will certainly be zero delay in getting this sorted on my part

tldr; we have a support system; new methods of printing labels; shipping resumed.

Hey everyone,

Sorry I have not have had much of a presence in this thread or geekhack. That is about to change. I really miss being active and part of the community. It's been hard to switch gears.

We really lacked a proper support system, contact form and way to update everyone on geekhack and outside of geekhack.

To solve these problems I overhauled our contact page to make it specific to the messages we are looking for.

We rolled out an official support request ticket system to issue out refunds, return labels or replacements as quickly as possible.

Tym will be helping us keep them up to date.

We also built a newsletter system after hitting a limit with our previous newsletter provider. You can opt in or out by going to your account settings. This is important so we can keep everyone who participates in the group buy up to date without reading countless pages of threads.

I'm going to start shipping and resolving support requests right away. Following support requests I'll be fixing and updating any labels that have been "hanging".

I've finished resolving the sets that were mis sorted.

I have a plan and am in full swing.

I'm currently writing up a series of blog posts to explain the time line and get into the events following the arrival of hyperfuse.

I'm on the same boat, except mine IS linked to my email.... But it still sucks that we'll basically have to wait another couple months before we can get our set... assuming people with extras will even send it back.

My thoughts exactly. I'm not entirely "thrilled" I've had my tracking for about 2 months with no movement. Regardless of site updates and the creation of the new support system people are still waiting for their sets patiently (for the most part).

I know we all have lives to handle and things do come up, but when it's a promise after promise after promise that goes unfulfilled it gets old very fast. I don't really mind the waiting,but I just wish there was one solid date and it just gets taken seriously. Look back at many other members' posts.

Either way I respect what CTRLALT is doing. They have a really neat and unique thing going on for the community. Although, I do think when an agreement is made from both parties it should be taken a little more seriously about when do make promises met. Again I mean no disrespect to the CTRLALT team we love ya'll.

I know I've missed deadlines and it stresses me out every day things are left hanging. And even more so I don't like getting into my personal life. (I  literally wake up and think about ctrlalt and what I need to do, all day, everyday.)

Me and bunnylake made a plan over a month ago and have been sticking to it.
I really feel like its finally come together and progress from here on will be steady and reliable.

It's been hard to learn how to switch gears when programing/shipping/being a dad and even harder to convince my family I need more time to myself to fulfill obligations.

I'm the stay at home dad, so if I'm lucky I'll get 3 days of the week where I can really focus. It's very to hard to explain to my family that ctrlalt.io is more important than finding a job. I'm not getting paid any money for this, we took all the money from sorting and added more keys to the set to ensure compatibility will more keyboards.

Anyways,
I've just finished confirming all hanging labels and they will posted tomorrow. If you are any bit worried, feel free to open a support request.
