So if the ends aren't available to purchase separately, would it be feasible to buy a cable and send it to you so you can cut it up and make a nice new one? Or are Apple horribly technical about all of their ****?

Here is a few pics of a couple of PSU replacement cable sets that I have made this week. The first set are direct, drop in replacements for a Seasonic Platinum 1000W unit. The sleeving used for this job was the original and still my favourite (I've tried them all!), MDPC-X in Orange, Shade 19, Titanium Grey MK2 and Black.

As always, all the cables are made by me, by hand, to complete bespoke lengths as specified by the customer, right down to the distance between the SATA connectors.
