6x.5mm ribbon framed with 26g and wrapped with 40g kanthal  ohms out to .09 so I have to use it on a mech or my dna but its an amazing vape mmmmhhhmm

Good lord, that's beautiful! How long did it take you to wrap that?
it takes me about 35-45 minutes to wrap about 12 inches of wire but I need to buy new tools and I should be able to spit it out faster

Wow, I guess that's not too bad.

the Goldie is a traditional four post so it would be out of the choice for me however grimmgreen said it produces a decent vape. The TM squared is a great little Atty with a strange 2 post design that almost looks like a 4 post. However it works fantastic it also has a design that lends itself to high airflow and big builds which in turn means big clouds

So I am thinking about getting into more advanced wire builds, does claptoned wire actually make a difference too flavour? I mean, I can understand the capillary effect and wicking, but does it make a difference to flavour? Regardless I am going to build some because, dank photos, but I am curious to people's opinions on what side effects it has

Better flavor? Absolutely! It might just have to do with the difference in RDAs, but my clapton build produces smaller clouds than my standard build though.
Clapton build is 34/24, 4 wrap on a 2mm post at ~0.17 ohm. My regular build is 24awg, 5 wrap on a 3mm post at ~0.25 ohm.

Anyone here pick up a DripBox from Kanger?

I was in my local B&M and they were getting a couple delivered, so i scooped a red one up. Way smaller than it seemed from the pictures. But squonking is awesome. The RDA it comes with is kinda like the Sapor, its taller with top air flow so it has pretty good flavor and its impossible to leak because when you squonk it wets the cotton and sucks any excess liquid back down.

For the ~30$ you can get them for online, its so worth it.

Hey trees
I grabbed a white one and have had it for almost 2 weeks and for the price its pretty amazing. Squonkers are expensive as hell and this thing works great for the price. It runs a bit like a mechanical mod meaning your build dictates how much power you use up to 60 watts. There's no VV/VW and no TC. I have not used the atomizer that came with it Although I have heard its not bad. I have been using it with my hobo v3,1 And NaRDA (with BF pins) and its pretty freaking nice. It holds 7ml and when you taste your wick getting dry you just give the bottle a little push and your good to go. I'm I have a BF pin coming for my hobo drifter and also I sent my VO Distro Evolution rta to catfish over on ECF to get squankified. I have barely put this down since I got it  !!!!!

Unrelated, is it worth investing in any of the branded non Samsung 18650 batteries? Keep buying a few batteries a year from fasttech and they work fairly well so far

So got the tsunami in the about a week ago and it was covered in machine oil out of then package(more then I have ever seen before) some of the threads had burrs and I found the deck super cramped when trying to use even a normal amount of cotton. Besides the negatives it does vape well ! However the hype for me will be the tsunami 24 which is what size it should have been from The get go

With prices so cheap at Illum, I don't see a reason to get anything but legit LG, Samsung or Sony batteries - too many rewraps & shady sellers out there.

Mooch does great testing and maintains a list so you can check out performance for any given battery (assuming you know what's actually under the wrap). A lot of the off-brand batteries are garbage with greatly exaggerated amperage ratings.

This pretty much sums it up. I wouldn't trust anything other than legit Sony/LG/Samsungs. I've got a 0.17 ohm build on my mech, so I pretty much need to use Sony VTC's on it due to the high amount current needed.

I've always been very happy when ordering from Wake and Vape and Vapor DNA.

The LG HE4's at Wake and Vape are a great deal when buying 4 or more, which is what I did last time. Put in an order with a few friends. Pretty nice that they ship in the hard plastic battery cases too!

I'm writing up a review for one right now and its a nice vape and if you liked the original you will love this. Very similar design with a few SMALL positive changes. My only issue with it is the price tag I feel avid could have put it out cheaper.

In other vaping news I have the goon 24 coming in as well as the Uwell Rafale X RDA which looks trvokutionary (this thing could either be freaking amazing or just plain stupid)
Looking for Black KMAC 2 or KMAC LE Preferably unbuilt kit but will consider an assembled board with clears Please PM me if you can help 8) Always on the lookout for KBK/KWK Bro Reapers,V2s and Clack factory skulls have lots of caps for trade

Yea, I'm honestly really surprised that they gunk up slower. Especially since there is a lot more surface area.

I see your rocking the spaced coils too !!! Don't get me wrong I love all types but spaced has been really easy and producing a beautiful vape so I have been rocking them more and more.

I wish I would have gone for the black one punks as yours looks great ! Its not a bad RDA and I feel bad I talked **** about it but the fact I have to pack my cotton down hard and the jumping resistance has me reaching for my Kennedy over it all the time even with the 3 post lol (3 post decks make you a better builder haha) .....

Oh heeeey a vape thread here too! I love this place!

Currently using a Wismec Reuleaux with a Kanger Subtank mainly, but switch between that and a OBS Crius. Juice wise it's I <3 Cookies and Naked Fish Great White and Wahoo. Have a bottle of Teleos Crunch that was recommended to me but I'm not really liking the taste.

So my goon came in and the clamp decks are amazingly easy to build on once you get the hang of it maybe even easier then velocity but that's my opinion either way if anyone was debating I say its a big four thumbs up mother****ing yaaaaas go for it !

Also my Rafale X came from uwell and let me just say I'm surprised there isn't more buzz about this its really pretty ingenious what this rda is capable of and I encourage anyone to watch a review about it because yes it is complicated but goddamn is it cool

P.s
Sorry about the ****ty pics also with the quad coil (I was in a rush sorry its so janky) as you can see in the pic the resistance is at like .43 that's possible because of what uwell is calling parallel serial mode (lol) but normally with 316l stainless that would be impossible as the resistance would have been to low

Damn you vape sites,

Beginning of this year my cc info was stolen after some sketchy vape purchases.

Took some Reddit advice and ordered from another vape company last week. Card stolen again

Damn you zero cool, stop stealing my cc info

Top nominations!

1. Blue dot vapors **** your unsafe site
2. Reddit, if it wasn't for WPD I wouldn't go to you anymore
3. PayPal eat a **** for telling me there's nothing you can do, dispite the fraudulent charges being PayPal accounts

That really sucks dude. This is why I try to put most of my online purchases on my PayPal account. If the site seems kinda sketchy and doesn't accept PayPal, I won't order from them.

When a credit cards information is stolen it's normally not sold or used for 6+ months after. So it definitely wasn't a recent purchase that made this happen.

I have heard that before but what's odd is I received a new card in January after fraud, making this new card only 4 months old. PayPal confirmed that my card was manually swipped in Florida for medical supplies and in Indiana for child day care. Disputes the payments using paypals phone swipe machine and the payments going to PayPal accounts they refused any blame.

Ya it's completely ridiculous that they want to lump ecigs into the same category as cigarettes and other actual tobacco products when there isn't even any tobacco in them. They even admit that ecigs aren't as harmful as cigarettes.

If it wasn't for vaping I'd still be smoking. Patches made me sick and the gum tastes like ****. Neither of them provide the same stimulation as smoking. Vaping is the closest you can get.

Now, I can understand them banning the sale of e-juice to minors if it contains nicotine, since that's the actual drug aspect of it. Other than that, what's the point? McDonald's is ****ing terrible for you too, but you don't see the government banning teens from buying Big Mac's.

Some people do it as a cheaper alternative to smoking, so if the government taxes e-juice even more that's kind of counter-productive.

What I'm most worried about is if they get taxed so much to the point where it's just too expensive, and a lot of the small e-juice makers won't be able to support themselves any more because if the price goes up too much they'll lose business. I mean, it's possible to make your own juice, but I don't feel like putting in that much effort, and I'd like to continue supporting these small businesses if I can. Yaaaay big government.

Well, you can finally say the "We know, you vape!" phrase. Purchased my first vaporizer yesterday - a Joyetech Ego One AIO. Read a bit about it and figured that's enough for me to try this hobby out. I'm an ex-smoker so going with that 0 nicotine stuff.

This is my thoughts as well.   With as much other stuff that most of the ingredients are used in, the prices for diy supplies shouldn't go up much at all with the exception of nicotine.

Can anyone provide a link for a good site for getting started in making your own juice?

I've got a few friends that make their own juice, so I guess I'll just ask them. But it's much cheaper too, which is always a plus  :D

Reaulaux is causing people trouble? My wife's IPV2 and my Sigelei 150 TC is on it's way out. They've been used daily for a year or so now.

What do you guys recommend for something affordable but durable?

Is TC still super touchy and a pain to set the resistance correctly?
