How much you have to spend?  You probably could get everything for under $150, if you are not too picky about having Cherry brand switches or the best keycaps.

I could, but Right and I kid you not, my keyboard budget is at Zero xD I have stuff to sell and most likelly would get the money to build it, but it will take some time, and i don't like to impose time on sellers, so if i can manage to get the money I will get in contact with you, if not, i will keep drooling, is that okay with you? :p

Hey, whatever works for your situation.  I understand. There are greater priorities than keyboards.

Great deal with the purchase of a modded TKL. Well done! Newbie post here as feedback. Didn't see other place on forum for this. Thanks again for the smooth transaction.

Seriously, if you want the Ergodox plates, just give me a reasonable + shipping and they are yours.  Not too picky about price anymore.

Hng... That typewriter is very tempting. Serviced and at a very reasonable price. I've been looking for a good manual one and that Sterling is on my want list! Unfortunately, slightly short of funds, but if it's still available this weekend I may take it.

Forgive the ignorant question, but what did the extender do? Hold the paper up?

Remember, I'm willing to accept best offer and shipping to Chicago will not be very expensive, even with a heavy item like this.

Sorry, I guess I did not word that correctly.  The broken plastic bit was part of the handle for the carriage release lever on the left side of carriage.  The handle moves the carriage to the left or right without going the next line (unlike the ibgger carriage return lever, which goes to the next line).   The ability to move the carriage is not impaired, and the handle on the right side is perfectly fine.  It is just the basic carriage release lever you on any typewriter.

I noticed you were in IN, so I figured shipping wouldn't be much. Which just adds to the temptation!
I'm just learning about the mechanics of manual typewriters, so if the one on the right is fine then that's good for me.

I noticed the best offer, but I'd like to offer a reasonable amount, which is why I'd like to wait until next week.

No one buy it!

I thought it was you!  Feels much better with the Matias switch.  But I have a Realforce numpad now, so all other numpads are inferior.  In the long run, I actually think this would great to handwire with a teensy.  Although I'm not sure if a teensy can fit in the case.

Bump.  Added a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B that I have laying around.

Adn I swap Matias Quiet Tactile switches into the Siig Minitouch because the buyer of my other board wanted linear switches in that one.  I actually think these Quiet Tactile feel much better in this keyboard than the Linear ones.
