RasPi as firmware loader
« on: Sun, 13 April 2014, 17:43:52 »
Wondering if anyone else has done this.  I am planning to setup one of my RasPis as a firmware loader.  I will put a bunch of different firmware build/load libs on it and use it to flash keyboards.

Why not just use my standard OS you ask?
- Well, if I switch between machines and want an easy way to test or flash a keyboard, I can just plug it into a RasPi and build and flash it without having to worry about setting up any libs on my current OS.
- All my layouts and tools to build layouts are very portable and can be taken with me.

Maybe this is just interesting to me, but I was wondering if anyone else is doing this...

Once I settle on a layout I tend not to reprogram them, so something like that would be way overkill for me
