Lubing for a Newbie

I'm looking at getting into lubing my switches but dont know where to start learning and exploring, any pro gamerz here to show me in the right direction?

Starting with my Akko lavender purple, just because I have a lot of the to spare

this was the guide I used back when I started out, but there is a more updated version that I'll link a s well
How I lubed has changed slightly from those guides, I still lube all the contact points shown but I have a very brute force way of doing it where I just grab a bit of lube and slob it on the contact point until there is no white, then just spring swap to something consistent. Probably best to follow the guide.
Honestly as long as there isn't huge deposits of lube (so much so that it is white) then you should be fine.
Also kinda unrelated but simple questions like this are probably already on geekhack, if maybe outdated, if you go onto google or your search browser and search "how to lube switches" for example followed by geekhack than you should get some good results.
