Size of cherry mx keycap fixings?

Does anyone know the size of the fixings on a keycap for a cherry mx switch? I've got a gatway with what looks like a similar attachment mechanism and I wondered if I could use those keys on cherry MX mechanisms (so I could put english punctuation onto a spanish keyboard for example).

A little bit of searching doesn't reveal much, but maybe I'm using the wrong terms.
