Thanks to everyone who supported this Group Buy for the Copper, Bronze and Aluminum Spacebars! It was a success!
The group buy is now closed, but we will leave the store front open a few days for those assured stragglers.

UPDATE March 26 2021: Manufacturing Complete - Now polishing and then off to Cerakote and anodizing.

Springs: We will be including 3 different weight springs depending on aluminum or bronze (74g, 89g, 98g & 150g) so you can test what you like.

Got a brass and a copper one this time. The first time around I bought the polished aluminum one. Unfortunately all of them will be stuck with a friend in the USA until he can travel to South America again

I hope you consider doing topre stems one day for those what want to spice up their HHKBs. I would be all over the copper bar in 6u Topre mount

Maybe consider doing a 2u or 2.25+2.75u offering someday? I understand the bulk of the market is 60/65% keebs these days, but there’s a decent ortho/40% niche out there too.

Do you still need the cerakote clear coat for the polished version?

Copper has antimicrobial properties, similar to silver. Using coating over it will cancel it out.
Something that might be taken into consideration, especially during the pandemia.

Hi,

I asked in the IC but never got a reply. I really love the look, but I am worried about fingerprints showing.

-Does the clear cerakote prevent finger prints on the polished copper?
-If not, would a Polished Aluminium work?

Sorry about that... Lots of comments, and for sure some slipped through the cracks. Yes. The cerakote clear not only helps stop the patina process, but also reduces finger prints from showing.

March 26 2021 - Update - machining is complete and now we are polishing - then off to Cerakote and anodizing - On target for shipping mid April.
