I wrote up some of my research on making the gasket-mount/isolation-mount trend more accessible to people who aren't able to participate in high-end keyboard group buys. My original post is at

Long story short, adding neoprene sheets or o-rings between the plate/PCB and the case can be a pleasant improvement to your typing experience.
Has anyone else experimented with this? Any more ideas along these lines?
