Pi*r^2 (movie) Keyboards!
« on: Tue, 16 July 2013, 01:24:09 »
I was watching one of my old favorite movies (Pi: Faith in Chaos) and noticed a few quick flashes of retro keyboard gear.

There are some neat keys in here that I don't see too often, plus some sweet custom keycaps that I'm sure are the product of attention to detail and never settling for anything less than perfection.

Anyone have a keyboard that looks like this? (3+ different cap sets mixed in all over the place, broken / ghetto case, caps in wrong locations / rows, etc?)

Also, if you have not seen the movie, it is HIGHLY recommended.

The ones covered in scribbled-on masking tape?  ;)

I'm pretty sure those key switches are Futuba, which suggests the movie keyboard borrowed the innards from a Televideo terminal keyboard.
