Hi there i'm Ziploid!

I'm from the UK and just starting to get into making my own keyboard(s). I hope to eventually try and design my own cases and key caps. As far as I can tell, there aren't many people from the UK into mechanical keyboards, but please do pop up and correct if i'm wrong I'm also about to start making my own custom cables which as far as I'm aware there is very little being built, if any, in the UK and hope to make something of myself with it but I can wish! )

I look forward to delving further into this hobby, learning so much more and being able to talk & get on well with you all!

But yes, there are Brits in the hobby. I'm from South Wales myself, although I'm a vintage sort of person as funkmon described. lol.

I think there's something to that, for some reason. I may not have an account on Deskthority, but I see a lot of "British" spelling on there, and then there's Chyros as well. I would wonder if it were a lack of easy access to modern boards ... but you would think that would be doubly true for vintage boards. Maybe I should apply for honorary citizenship on account of reverence for ye olde switches.
