From the depths of the Atlantic, we present..... ePBT Submerged.
A keycap set, inspired by Rapture, the submerfed dystopian city.
Ever since I played Bioshock, I used to be so mesmerized by the beatiful colors of the city. The browns of rusting metal, the watery turquoise greens, all meshed together to create the familiar "Rapture feel"

Hmmm love the theme but not the colors. Also, there is no kitting.

Kitting needs a lot of work. There is no numpad kit available but you have r1 End and PgDn for 1800 support, your UK ISO is incomplete and there is no F13 in base. The set would benefit from additional kits like numpad/extension/spacebars/40s...

This set needs a lot of work, especially on the kitting department, If you are going to offer ñ for ISO latam it would be better to include it in a ISO latam kit, also from what I know all Epbt sets need to have kbdfans as a vendor so I don't think it would be possible having just 1 international vendor that isn't kbdfans

This is half-baked and I have concerns about using a famous game for the inspiration for the set in such an obvious way. I would talk to an IP lawyer before deciding whether you want to finish baking this IC or go back to the drawing board.

I like the color turquoise, but I think these alpha/mod colors are off-putting as is

i'll echo what others have said about the colorway - it seems a bit muddy and confused to me - maybe a little more contrast (e.g. lighter turquoise against that dark red).

it's also not really clear what the theme is or how it takes inspiration from the game. some novelties or accent keys are definitely called for.

I dunno. I like the source inspiration a lot, but the mod/alpha colors and the alpha/legend colors don’t really compliment each other.

Could use some work, both in terms of colorway and presentation <Insert copy pasta about pre-mature ICs here>

This is a pre ic. I like the idea behind about bioshock but the colors don't look great to me and it really needs a lot of work. No kits, no novelties :/

I think this was another dumpster set. I tried looking for OP's profile to see if he is an active member, but nope, he is not. Maybe another Kaysoo/Kozify/Poaetce/thisispoggers account?

Maaaan when I saw the inspo I was sooo excited cause Bioshock is one of my favourite games (well trilogies) !! I love the atmosphere of the game and the art-deco designs!
That being said, I think this still needs some work. I am not a fan of the colours and I think the alpha and mod colours are a bit too similar. Just a suggestion since you are going with ePBT, have you thought about using a different font for the legends that is more aligned with the art-deco style used in the game? I think it could look unique/interesting :D I understand this is still a WIP so I am excited to see the next iteration! Good luck!

Nice inspiration but the colors are pretty bad IMO. Why not focus on the green/black tones in the picture you posted and use the turquoise as an accent color?

Nevermind. I did like it, but you changed something -made the modifiers a lighter color? Now it sucks/

I appreciate it, I have informed myself and there would be no problem in taking it as inspiration.

New colors are "Zone of Enders" almost to a T. Or that prosthetic arm based on ZoE from MGS the Phantom Pain.

Yes, please make sure to use Pantones or RALs as references for the colours, not just hex codes!! I would highly recommend buying a Pantone formula guide or RAL deck (altho they can get pricy) so you can see what the colours look like on paper first and then buy the plastic chips once you have finalized the colours to see what they look like on plastic.

Between the colors and the fact that you're using hex codes instead of pantones and/or rals gives me a creeping suspicion you used a palette generator to "design" this set.

e.g. https://coolors.co/

I wish you the best of luck on your journey to GB :)

Edit: Glad my feedback was of use to you  :thumb:

no alpha spacebar in base

just incredible design

please lock this thread and try again when/if you're ever able to piece together a presentable IC

feedback is one thing, but this "set" is at the "please design my keycaps for me" stage
