3D printing keyswitch hotswap mounts

Does anyone have experience with 3D printing keyswitch hotswap mounts?
I'm currently building a (vanilla/original) Dactyl (I've built a Dactyl Manuform +5 years ago) and I found this github repo through thingyverse of hotswap mounts and it looks brilliant, in that it allows me to not make the final and ultimate dicision on which keyswitches I'll use in my keyboard build. (I only have a bag of gateron brown from my original build way back).
Now the problem is: when I print the master breach (v4), the holes most definitely don't line up with the legs of my switch. I can see in his pictures we seem to have the same leg-placement on the switches, so those pictures are likely from an earlier version. I'll be digging through the commit history of this repo to see when those moved, but I thought to share the repo here, and also hear if people have experience using this or any similar 3D printed model?
Also: can I buy commercial hotswap mounts anywhere, for handbuilt/handwiring (no PCB) keyboard build? (I've been out of the keyboard game for +5 years, but coming back now as I now have access to a 3D printer, so pardon my ignorance).
EDIT: Turns out I spoke too soon. For some reason I assumed the diod would be mounted on the outwards facing side, but if I flip it, the switch actually fits. Now I just need to confirm it works with propper gauge wires and makes contact. Either way, please share thougths, experience, reaction. Cheers!

If you decide you don't want to go with the 3D printed sockets, kailh hotswap sockets for MX switches are pretty readily available on Amazon or AliExpress, among other vendors. You should be able to get plenty for well under $20, possibly by quite a bit.

maybe look at gaterons products to, kailh sockets have those anoying metal tongues over the contacts, that hold on to fabric and other soft things.

I've started printing these now, and playing around with different wire gauge sizes, and adjusting the OpenSCAD file for it. I'm currently documenting my process as a future blog post.
