Yeah this group buy has been something I've been looking for since I first got my RealForce. It's definitely coming out of retirement once I get these keys.

Is it preferred to pull one side up at a time?

What if you remove the alt keys and slowly wiggle your fingers upwards under each side of the spacebar?

That's how I do it on my Cherry boards. I like to wiggle. You know how I do.

How to remove the space bar:

1) The removal tool should be vertical, push down firmly on the right stabilizer of the space bar
2) Pull the space bar out from stabilizer and be careful not to scratch (pull it straight up). If you pull up too much, the stabilizer might break so watch out for that
3) Same as no. 2 except for the left side
4) Push down the key puller in the middle of the space bar
5) Pull straight up and again, be careful not to scratch
6) Remove the space bar from the tool

How to put it back:

1) Watch the orientation of the space bar
2) Grab both side firmly and push down/mount the stabilizers

^ If it's anything like on HHKB then it should be fairly straight forward. I switched from black to white ones by myself for the first time without any incident (a whole set).

Later if the weather is not bad and have enough light I can make pics on how to pull out the Modifiers Keycaps on the Realforce.

My Realforce 91 UBY doesn't have any stabilizer on it, super cool and easy to pull out keycaps since none of them could break any stabilizer when pulled out.

I think that your shipments went SUPER FAST. Does it means that maybe I should tell David to send mine today or tomorrow?

BTW did you have to pay any custom duties?

No worries, that's why I asked before doing anything

For the moment I will wait until I receive mines and then I would be able to think about it. I already have a Yellow Spacebar, even if it is really tiny. I actually want something different from yellow keycaps as I'm used to them. BTW sorry, I missed the PM since firefox didn't open the window of the PM.

for sure in the HHKB pro2 the space bar has a stabilization systems. I wont take my chances with this one. If anyone has some pictures that will be very helpful. I replace all the other keycaps and they do not have stabilization systems uff

Here's my red keycaps on a black 87UB. I apologize for the cell-phone quality pics, it's all I've got with me.

Overall I think they look great. Although, I did notice that there seems to have been a mistake when they were printing these. In the factory key set, you get 3 CTRL keys (2 are 1.5 size, 1 is 1.75 size) and 2 CAPS LOCK keys (1 is 1.5 size and 1 is 1.75 size). In this stock set, none of the CTRL keys have a clear window to see the LED through (because why would you need to on a CTRL key) but both of the CAPS LOCK keys have clear windows on them so you can see when CAPS LOCK is turned on.

However, in my set, I received 3 CTRL keys, all 1.5 size (one of which has a clear LED window) and 2 CAPS LOCK keys (1 with a clear LED window and 1 without), both 1.75 size. Additionally, the CTRL key that can be swapped out with the CAPS LOCK key is the only key switch on the keyboard that has a horizontal indexer, instead of a vertical indexer (see pics below). I'm not sure if there's any way to get this corrected but it sucks if you want to swap the CTRL and CAPS LOCK key positions.

This first pic shows the different orientation of the indexer between the windowed/non-windowed 1.5 size keys and why I can't attach one of the non-windowed CTRL keys to the key switch:

Here you can compare the red color of these key caps. On the left is the red ESC key that came with the keyboard, on the right is the red ESC key that came with this new set. The red on this new set is slightly lighter in color than the red on the original ESC key.
