Kinda pieced together my two sets since I was missing the home row key on my dark grey *sigh* and put these on blind. Tell me if I messed up on putting these on since I was doing it by eye for the first time but I think I have it down.

Looks like you have a bottom row 1.5u key where the tab should be

Does anyone have the Dark Grey/Beige combo? If you do, I'd really appreciate some photos! I just put in an order for one of the extras and while I ordered LG/Beige, the colors look so drastically different in so many photos and I've had a tough time deciding if I made the right choice!

I also don't know if I should just get LG/White since that looks so nice, but there's something about beige that I don't want to abandon...

Grrizz's photo up above is the one really telling me that LG/Beige is nice, but some of the other photos I've seen make them seem really close together in color.

Yea that look weird for me as well, I think I'm missing tab keys then because the other keys I have that fit are not of the right profile.
Pic attached is the tab from my beige and light grey set compared to all the keys I have in my grey set (for that size.)

Heh, I saw your photos on reddit and they actually drove me to pick that combo in the first place. My monitor has pretty bad colors (some real bad washing out in the middle) but some of your pics make them look like they're not contrasty enough for my liking.

Heh, I saw your photos on reddit and they actually drove me to pick that combo in the first place. My monitor has pretty bad colors (some real bad washing out in the middle) but some of your pics make them look like they're not contrasty enough for my liking.

I don't know a whole lot about photography but my pictures look fairly true to my set, not quite colour matched but the contrast between sets is reasonable (I do have a Spyder 4 Pro calibrated monitor), I haven't balanced them or tweaked them or anything but I picked the one that looked the most real. One thing I did notice is the light can affect how they look next to each other a fair bit, i.e. looking directly overhead with the light straight down on them the LG and Beige look closer than they do when looking at them at an angle, you can kind of see that in 1ammikes photos too comparing the first angled one to the second straight on one, its weird I don't know if its the artificial lighting or the keys surfaces that causes it - its night now and has been rainy lately so I haven't had a good chance to take pictures under decent natural light - you can see the difference in the picture right at the bottom but at each of those angles the pictures look reasonably close to what I actually see.

Here is another pic of all the spacebars lined up to give you an idea of contrast, its taken on a Lumia 930 with flash under a cool white CFL ceiling light (if that helps you understand what it might look like?) with a white piece of A4 printer paper behind:

Thanks so much for the follow up photos Grrizz! I took a look at them and 1ammike's photos on my surface (which has an incredible screen, far better than my poor old monitor) and I'm getting a much better idea of what LG/B looks like. I think I'm gonna stick with it!

also, Shadovved, are you able to keep track of the stock of extras while abroad? I only ask because I'm wondering if I know I got in for one while there were some left, or if I'm gonna be completely unsure until you get back. I saw that you mentioned you can't look at the doc, which makes me think I'll be left wondering, but no worries either way I suppose, I'm just curious!

No, the whites went on without a problem.
With the blacks (Vortex from Massdrop) I had to file down everything with stabs except for the spacebar.

I have blacks from Ivan's R3 (same manufacturer) and they fit on my QFR with Costar stabs without any problems. Don't have a numpad to test on, so I don't know how those ones work.
