I main AD, and if my duo doesn't get bot with me I usually get stuck with a feeder too, or someone that plays something like "support Orianna". 

I think I got my role more under normal queue as well. I'm glad Graves/Quinn top and Corki mid are a thing though, because I can always fall back on one of those.

I love having a Singed top lane. If they can proxy farm they generally wreck late game.

I'm glad you're getting into it. There's a big barrier to entry, but keep at it and everything will fall together. And if you're so inclined, watching high-elo streamers will help you develop a better intuition for positioning, picking fights, etc.

Yeah I was playing with my higher leveled friend and he kept telling me (made me play lux, even tho my heart currently belongs to nunu) to distract the other people and I didn't know how to do it without dying immediately. I should play with my level people first...

Mainly top, I read that Nunu is a jungler, but since I am level 5, I don't have smite yet, so I am doing pretty well in lane. I'm not that good at harassing but I really like the sustain from my Q and the speed increase from my W.

Nunu top can be scary if you want a more harass heavy build it's pretty fun building him with a lot of magic damage (i.e. Rod of Ages, Abyssal Sceptre, Rabadon's Death Cap, Luden's Echo). Rod of ages is just a really good tanky/magic damage item right now. Then you can just chuck snowballs at people ad infinitum and watch them get chunked.

If you don't have smite then I recommend you play him support as his kit works really well for that.

Since I don't know what I am doing, I am mostly just checking out some build guides and following him that way. But those are the items I remember seeing!

If you don't have smite then I recommend you play him support as his kit works really well for that.

Top is usually a solo lane. Popular picks for the top-lane meta are tanky bruisers (usually melee champions).

Bottom lane is a duo lane that consists of a support + attack damage carry (ADC). This is usually someone who has ranged auto attacks and is supposed to get all the farm bot lane so they can get their items and deal tons of damage. The support is either a healer, or some tanky initiator that protects the ADC during the laning phase.

In the current meta bot lane is a duo lane and top is solo. The reason for this is for bot lane to assist in securing Dragon buffs, although with the introduction of the Rift Herald this season the meta may shift slightly. I doubt this though because Rift Herald isn't being utilized and apparently Dragon buffs are being reworked.

I just played a 40 minute game and an hour game. We won both games with a gold deficit. The second game felt like nobody won. We had a freaking midland Teemo that was trolling. He started out building full tank. After about 40 minutes he started selling everything off and buying AP. I felt like I was in prison.

Hating because I'm stating facts?  He just split pushed 2 nexus turrets and nexus while the other team was at baron last week.  It doesn't take a genius to realize he's going to try to do that exact same thing again.

It's a valid strategy, but it annoys me when people don't have a strategy to combat it.  Say that baron attempt succeeded.  Do they honestly think Xmithie (who they couldn't kill) would just let them recall?  Of course not.  They didn't even start it until Darshan/Huhi had like 15-20 seconds left on their death timers.

It's one thing to not have a strategy to combat it, and another to not have a comp that stops it well.

Well I doubt Xmithie could stop them all from recalling, especially with baron.

So then they could have stopped the attempt

But my main problem is that split push "strategies" are always pulled with chaps like Udyr, Fiora, and other champs (who I hate) because they out dual people no problem majority of the time.

So you send 2 people do deal with 1, and then now you can deal with the other side of the map

That's the whole point of split pushing, so it doesn't really work out as something you can have a strat to shut down, it's something you just "deal" with.

Again, it's just a gripe I have

Not like it's a "bad" thing, I just don't like it.
