I can't sleep and my brain is soupy, so have a silly little story:
Once upon a time, there was a Nai_Calus who was very lonely. Nai spent all their time crying alone.
"If only I had a friend," Nai_Calus thought, "then I wouldn't be alone all the time." But no friend came then, and Nai_Calus continued to be very lonely.
One day, though, a little Axolotl came through the place where Nai_Calus lived alone. It was lost and far from home, and a little scared. It stopped to ask for directions, but Nai_Calus hadn't been anywhere and couldn't help the poor Axol find its way. But, Nai_Calus gave the Axol a place to rest for the night, and food to eat, and water to drink, and kept it company late into the night. Talking with Nai_Calus, the Axol wasn't afraid anymore, and it decided it liked it there.
When morning came, Nai_Calus woke to see the Axol off on its journey and make sure it had provisions, but to Nai_Calus's surprise, the Axol hadn't packed.
"I want to stay here," said the Axol. "It's quiet and peaceful, and I was a little lonely before I came here, but if we're together, we won't be lonely, right?"
Nai_Calus had to agree with the Axol's logic, and said the Axol could stay forever. The Axol was happy, and so was Nai_Calus, and the two lived together happily.
