Please remove OFF TOPIC (tp4tissue) posts from Forum Sply

Inevitably it is just a tp4tissue post and causes non-keyboard related clutter.

He doesn't though. I think that's the point.

It would be better if he just had one thread that was his. Most of his threads don't go past like ten replies anyway.

Sadly even if you ignore a user their threads still show up...

Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

What's Forum Sply?

Ed: oh, you mean Spy? He's one of the few dudes keeping new threads active and injects some humor to it all. It amazes me how much energy he has with it  :)) Tbh years ago I didn't like some of his posts until at some vague point not long after it clicked and found his style fun.

He's more like a stream of consciousness from an AI that is in the process of achieving sentience than anything.

Anyone else see him in that light?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But thatís incorrect. Itís in HHKBís slogan, but when Americaís cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Anyone else remember when they were going to make spy better and add improvements.....yeah that was a while ago.....

oh the memories...

It's possible, yes.  The Spy is being written from scratch and will have a few more feature than your typical forum spy.

super spy!! FTW!!

I generally hate all keycaps. Keycaps are for poofs. Real men touchtype on stems. Non-functional artisans are awesome, I use them for the ESC key ... escape is for cowards anyways, real men go frontal assault.

Yeah, he keeps Spy fresh with his weird but thought provoking posts. GH has too much keyboard for anyone to devour, so having some non keyboard topics are refreshing!

tp4tissue is aight. If you ever jump on #geekhack while he's on be prepared for RIP your chat logs. One of his posts here would translate to nearly 30-50 'messages' in irc.
