Hello from Kansas!

I think now that I've purchased several sets of switches, keycaps, and a new soldering iron it's time for me to acknowledge that I am indeed a keyboard enthusiast. Reading up on all things keyboards, watching youtube vids (especially Chyrosan), and tinkering with em myself has become a fun, relaxing hobby of mine. Thus far I've modded a Topre Type Heaven with JTK Sliders/ o-rings and Maxkey SA keycaps, have begun work on modding a Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro M, and purchased a Tada 68 kit that I'll be working on later in the year. I'll post pics sometime soon!

From the sound of it, you'll fit right in here. I don't really mod myself, but a lot of our fellow Geekhackers will definitely be willing to help you in your current project (as well as any future ones), if the need arises.

Topre is an incredibly popular switch here, btw. The Type Heaven in particular is one of the most well-regarded keyboards in the community.
