White, Elderberry, Limestone. Hoping not all of them run at the one time though as I can't afford all 3 haha

If anything, you could always get 3 Luminas, all different colors :) Another cool thing is that you can mix and match colors. I tried out black top with white bottom, and it does look pretty cool!

PCB will be optional, as the case works with any standard 60% pcb! I am working to get the PCB to be what most people will want, but in the event people are not satisfied with what it is in the end, other PCB can definitely be used with the Lumina.

Some questions:

1. the plate ist custom for this case?
2. Normal 60% plates will not work?
3. the PCB offers a split space layout, but the plate does not, right?

Looks so nice, but I love split space. :)

Answers to your questions:

1. Plate is custom for this case, but the plate files will be open sources most likely so that people can do whatever layout they might want with this case.

2. Normal 60% plates will not work with this due to the way that the case is constructed.

3. PCB and Plate will both offer split spacebar, plate will be updated to reflect this, as the plates I have now are just standard. But yes, the plate and pcb will offer the same layouts.

Would recommend looking at the Norbatouch project which started out with a Corian option but never made it past the prototype stage. It's supposedly very difficult to work with when doing any kind of details, so I would expect the blockers in a winkeyless or similar layout would add a lot to the overall project cost. I'd like a WKL myself but would even more so like to see this happen at all so would suggest stick to standard layout only for the first run and you can always look at a WKL support in round 2 if the first round is successful.

For colour I voted Anthracite since you only allow one option but I'd also be happy to buy in Elderberry or White as well.

What screws are you using for the final? Any chance of hex heads or something sexier than the silver phillips?

Loving the new material and split space. I'm interested.

Also any chance of a solid Corian bottom/no diffuser?

EDIT: Voted for red + brass plate. Nice.

Did you mean the Norbaforce? I don’t think Corian was ever considered for the Norbatouch.

If I remember correctly, the thin sidewalls like these were where Corian would have issues.

Hey! Thank you for your input! While I was designing this board, I did come across the Norbaforce thread as a friend linked it to me. I have worked with Corian quite a bit, and have become very familiar with it's properties over the last 4 or so months, so this board is designed specifically to keep in mind the limitations of Corian and it's possiblities. As for the blocked and winkeyless tops that I am thinking of offering, the thickness of the material is well within the needed tolerances for the design to work! The Cost will not be too much more, as it would be a very small variation of the standard layout file type. I have taken into account the various aspects of the material and cnc costs as well!

Thank you very much for your feedback, I will be taking note of your comment about only one option.

For the final, I was going to take a look at the various screw options, but seeing as the philips head screw is the most common and easily accessible, it will most likely be that. However, in terms of aesthetic, hex screws would indeed be sexy, so I will see what I can do!

As for the solid corian bottom, I am working on an update to the design that addresses that, as I have had multiple people comment that they would like to see a solid bottom to the case. Stay tuned!

Sorry for the offtopic, but a Canadian venture called "Maple Computing" sounds so... right. Intuitive.

If I were to push through with the freelance web dev plans that resurface whenever I'm on the verge of ragequitting my job and called it Bratwurst Design, do you guys reckon that'd hinder my acquisition of clients or does the same vibe come across?

I thought I'm done with 60% until I see this AMAZING case.

Love the white classy look!

I would love to fit YD60BLE in there!!

Will you be happy to share the plate data once the GB finished? So that people could make their own plate with it.

Looks like Corian weighs 63% as much as 6061 Aluminum.

Corian: 1.7 g/cm^3
Aluminum: 2.7 g/cm^3

That said, weight isn’t everything when it comes to determining quality.
