Ouch. The vintage Futaba's were like nails on a chalkboard.

Maybe should do a series on keyboard with good bottoming out feel?  :D

The ideas are getting more abstract now xD .

I plan on dong a most silent one and maybe a loudest one, too. After that I'm really not sure. I'd love to keep doing more, but of course I'm going to run out of material at some point xD .

Damn I could listen to this voice for hours. Sounds so professional and the clash with such a ****ty subject is simply amazing.

Really got me at "animal cruelty on a keyboard" lol.

Nice, I thought maybe I was the only one that hated the sound of MX clicky switches.

Sure. It's fun to watch the series you're working on and not surprised by cherry mx in the list.
Well, just my humble suggestion.
Of course maybe we can move to keyboard series or a tour to your keyboard collection for this year? xD

I'm not sure where, but I've used a Futaba MA keyboard and I fear it may be hiding in my basement laying in wait for the next time I need a temporary keyboard.

HELP!

Personally these sound way worse than blues, though, Outemu rank up there since they are often combined with some of the most rattle prone stabs you can find.

Outemu's are the cheapest switch, so they are always combined with very cheap builds. Thin bodied, exposed switches, thin caps. Adds up to them sounding absolutely horrible. Like dumping legos on the floor.

My Outemu blues broke in after about six months of use. They sound a bit better if one is lucky enough to find a board with slightly thicker ABS (like the feared Magicforce68).

Still loud af even after six months of use.

Regardless of my reluctance to break in a new board, the video is hilarious :thumb:

I have outemu box blues in one of my keyboards and they don't sound that bad, but the keycaps on them aren't garbage either. They are still pretty high pitched, and I haven't spent the time to break them in. They aren't that impressive, but I would take it over a rubber dome :)

And where are the abused Alps switches? I can send you my M0110A keyboard that literally gives me creeps every time I press the key :D

Also MX Blues sound (and feel) horrible in some keyboards, like the G80 you always show, but they are very nice in some boards. I like them in my older Filco from 2010 although didn't like the Filco made last year I briefly had - switches felt stiff and pinged like hell. I also like my Ducky One 2 with MX Blue.
