Indonesia 3rd Mechanical Keyboard Meetup

Hello everyone!

So we managed to hold another Mech Keyboard Meetup last Saturday (8th of April 2017)



It is our biggest and most successful meetup to date, lots of knowledge sharing and introduction of local passionate crafter



I'd like to highlight a few interesting stuff

This guy run an artisanal dye sub keycaps, and moreover it is in the style of Batik
For those of you who don't know Batik , it is a very specially made linen which is unique to Indonesia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batik)
It is even considered to be the formal wear here where we live, and we hold it dearly
I will be doing some thorough look and pics for this keycap in the coming week or so

I had the chance to show the crowd how to build a keyboard from scratch, that was the plan at least. Too bad I brought the wrong HDMI cable, so they couldn't really see my elite soldering skillz. Not to mention my laptop decided to quit on me in the middle of presentation. That was a real mess.

Now the good part, the 5 key handwired keyboard worked, so I can spare my blushes. And at least half a dozen guys now appear to be really interested in building their own keyboards.
