A little Damper Porn.
Installing these, a Whiteline Roll Center Kit, Perrin Positive Response Steering Kit, and Whiteline Front Control Arm Bushings, plus alignment next week.

They are super sexy looking, very impressive. I've never had a high end suspension set up before. I'm doing that over doing any engine modifications, just taking a different route. Plus I really don't want it any louder than it is stock.

Thanks!

It was a early graduation present to myself (35 and finally finishing a BS undergraduate degree in July).

I figured since I finished with no debt I can take some of the GI Bill cash and buy something I don’t need, but need.

I'm scared of bills when I finally go into college. I wanna buy an ap2 v2. But think of debt and such.

Lots of car stuff is worth buying used, just not suspension (except sways, endlinks, etc)
Just make sure that thing is unmarried and the seller has a good forum rep and you'll be fine.
I've bought and sold AP's from my older cars and never had an issue.

I'm scared of bills when I finally go into college. [...] think of debt and such.

:(  The feels...

Sometimes I think of the fact that I could buy a new car every year if I didn't have loans to pay back.  Yes of course I wouldn't make as much money without the education, but still!

I hope to be able to live at home. And pay off a $16,000 car. But I dunno what it's like owning credit and paying a car off.

Living at home will help a ton.  Hopefully you won't have any major issues.  :)  And I'm mostly just complaining about all the nice things I can't have until I'm done paying them off.  :P  Sorry to take this off topic, everyone.  :-*

Finally got my spray paint through. Tomorrow I'm going back to the gym after a three week hiatus, but then the roof rack is being disassembled, ready for etch priming.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Also today my dad and I pulled our S2000 out of storage. Let the summer driving fun begin!

KeyCon Shotgun called!
Fitting all the boards in it is going to be interesting...

I'll make CPT schlep all the boards in my car as he follows behind.  :))

He'll be busy driving his own car, but I see how it is.  Trip canceled.

Ap1 is where it's at! Dat 9k rev.

I'm lucky enough that my first two years are already paid for and hopefully I'll get another scholarship through work.

For a school car I want a fun awd car for around 5k. I'd like to have something more unique than a wrx and I'm capable of doing most of the work myself. I'm cool with a beater that I polish up and fix. Anyone have any ideas?
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

Ap2 v2 gets flashpro ability.

Next year is the year where I apply for scholar ships.

But in terms of cars. For a 5k price I'd say 2.5rs. NA though.

Saw this bug... Reminds me of the one my step dad has in Brazil...

After filling dads tank...
His vr6... Sounds godly above 4k. Love the exhaust. He keeps saying he wants my sky. I retaliate, "gimme your car" he backs down from that lol.

He gave me the keys today after I asked him to change my cam actuator on the intake cam, I did the exhaust side, just don't have time lol. Man the things I'd buy for the TT....

I get auto transmissions:

D is for day time driving
N is for night driving
R is for racing mode
P is for parking

Right?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Not going to lie, just raged the old focus round some country lanes, barely got out of 4th but still able to hit 70... Love the handling on the old girl. She's only a 1.8 and the suspension is a little soft but it's still a blast to drive, especially in the wet going round corners with one hand the other on the gear stick for dem shifts after kissing dem apex's!

Wish I had the monies for an ST or something a little stiffer, not sure the power would be much benefit but would love to give it a go!

m'lady
Its an auto also.
So I ride on D daily.

oooh Miss, I do believe your making me blush
Oh dear. Maybe I should stop?

Show Image

Would you like me to put your car in D?

My car doesn't have a D, just 1-5 & R. I can put it in R, if you like...

I get auto transmissions:

D is for day time driving
N is for night driving
R is for racing mode
P is for parking

Right?
Exactly. R you shouldn't use on the streets. Too fast.
