It's OK, The_broBeast. I still love you :).

TheQsanity, I took ten different pictures, and with flash everything got horribly washed out, so I went with the one that showed the LED color the best. I have to buy a lightbox thing one day.

CPTBadAss, thanks :) I'm so excited about getting all the switches working on my first try. Soldering really isn't that scary once you've gone through a little trial and error *cough broken poker cough* :)) .
I love my geek hack keycap collection. I am a bit worried that I am missing one keycap though, but I can't be bothered to spend the tiny amount of free time I have these days to actually go hunting. Do you have a collectiong?

duq, I actually love that it has that little extra window :D . Here's a picture of the LED shining through haha

Once you kill your first PCB, you either give up forever, or become GREAT at soldering. Learning experience. :)

I'm sure my soldering could have been done a lot better than what I did, but I did it in two hours and with a pretty cheap soldering iron and tips. Just saying that anybody with a little patience and a little experience can do this. I do stress practicing on something you don't need or use, but that you can test after soldering and desoldering.
Now I want to get a soldering station like your new one :D .

I was thinking today (I know.. I should stop that ;) ), and I had a problem figuring out how I could have 1x windows keys instead of the 1.25 ones. Hmm.

Edit: And just as a sidenote. Be careful that you don't get spluttering solder in the eye! I got one piece that shot right into my glasses. Glad I wasn't wearing contacts while soldering xD. I'm guessing it's because my solder has a flux core.

I see! Looks like 15 is the number to shoot for, huh ;) . I think the 1.5-1-1.5-7-1.5-1-1.5 will be my layout. Now I just need to solve the spacebar stabilizer puzzle. Thanks as always, professor J.D.

I wish I could do this: 1.5-1.25-1.25-1.25-1.25-1.5-7. (Ctrl, Win, Meta, Fn, (idklol), Alt, Space)

Also, is a 10x spacebar workable?

Just did a little 1.5 - 1 - 1 - 1.5 mod on GH60. I unfortunately don't have any 1x in the right profile/made for the bottom row, so I'm using weird caps =p.

Don't rub it in, broheim :/. I only have white spacebars from the r3 moogle kit, and without a stab wire for 7x I can't use my cherry spacebar xD.
Flipped spacebar all the way though :D.

Not sure if there is a difference between regular arrow keys and bottom row arrow keys, but if I put the arrow keys that you sent with the set they stick up too much for my taste.
I love the set by the way. Using it every single day and I am hoping to put a really nice shine on the keys with time ^^.

Look like you have A profile Control but B profile Alt... I guess the cursor keys are A profile too if they came with the set the Control did.

I used some gray imsto PBTs. It's not perfect but it's better.

The profiles are the same. It's just bad camera work and shadows.

I was thinking if you do a stem mod on a 10x space bar to make the stems match a 7x then you could do 1. 5 - 1 - 10 - 1 - 1.5

Was thinking about playing around with this. Not sure if the really long spacebar on a wyse terminal is 9.75 or 10. Anybody know? 9.75 could still work but you would have a small gap to either side I think. Idk still might play with this idea.

The contrast of a small keyboard and an oversize spacebar. Or the novelty of a non-standard spacebar, uncommon spacebar.

What WFD said. No practical reason. It's not like I have trouble hitting a normal spacebar, just think it would look cool. Also, I like the idea of a winkeyless layout, but I also like the look of a solid bottom row. The HHKB and wkl layouts have gaps and plugs and such. If I decide I don't like the long spacebar or want to add keys to the bottom row, I could just trade out the 10x for a 7x and add two more modifier switches. No need to alter the case.

Also, this is a way to get a wkl layout without having a special case top. But mostly it would just be for fun

I wouldn't consider GMK made keycaps replica since they are the exact same made on the original tooling as old Cherry keycap. I more consider them like era 2 or something.
