I really shouldn't, but I'm interested in a variable silent one.

Put me down for a variable silent model (PM coming). That color scheme is so sexy.

I'm sorry if this has been already asked, but what's the price?

I'd like 45g also! (or even 35g!)

no 45g was made.
Only the 3 options.
I'm guessing about $380-400 depending on shipping fee.

I just want the keycaps ......

I don't like the grey at all, I just want to harvest the keycap set for the blue-grey keys to go on my 105UB. They're the only refined-looking coloured keycaps for a Topre; EK's selection is very brash and bordering on retina searing, though I was hoping that someone who bought the lettered green set for use on a HHKB would sell me just the function key row from it that they're not using (ditto the blue set for the arrows).

I can't even sell my keyboard and buy this, as they don't do this in 105-key.

Sorry, but I think I'm also going to have to back out, since I really need to tighten my keyboard budget. :(

Anyone who doesn't already have a couple RF boards should definitely take advantage of this though, since Realforces are amazing and the 10th Anniversary ones look really classy. I'll be watching this thread and there's a slim chance that I'll try to get back in, but I'm attempting to slow down with the keyboard purchases a little.

Shameless bump..
Just realized quite a few people have backed out.
Is this still on? If the price range is even higher because of fewer people, I may have to do the same unfortunately..

Yes, there is a price on cyclonchuah's thread on deskthority, but this is ballparked here around 380-400 as mentioned above.

Thanks jrockroll, I will possibly be back in on this depending on the timing. if it's just a matter of you letting us know in the thread when they become available and then deciding, that would be sweet... rather than committing to something that might not happen for a couple of months

Just wanted to let you guys know I played with one of these yesterday in Akihabara, but for some reason my phone deleted the picture I took. There were a couple of ANSI versions at that store (it wasn't the topre headquarters, I may go there tomorrow morning) for around $250 if anyone wants one. There was an 86UB and an 87U.

There was also a bin, yes a bin, of HHKBs. As they were only 3,000 yen (about $35) and when I typed on them they felt like a membrane (albeit a really really good feeling one) so they're probably the lite version.

That would be the HHKB Lite 2 due to the arrow keys. $35 is a good deal if you're into 2KRO and compared to Amazon.

I really wish the HHKB Pro 2 keys felt the same as the Realforce keys.

That's not what I was saying, I was saying that there were other boards that were ANSI that I could bring back, but the 10th anniversary one I saw was the Japanese ver. so I doubt anyone would want it. Sorry that was definitely unclear.

You guys should order from EliteKeyboard. It's in stock.

I did just that.  I think they were in stock for about an hour on Friday morning then it was removed from the products page entirely and I haven't seen it back.  I don't know how many thay had in stock but it couldn't have been more than two or three.  I've only seen one other GHer post that he also got one of them.
