peal & co straight captoe bluchers

they're a steal if you can pick them up during brooks brothers' winter / christmas sale and stack discounts.  pretty much the nicest pair of leather shoes you can buy anywhere near that price, made from quality materials and with superb craftsmanship.

not my pic but

my pride and joy.

1999 Retro Black/Cement Grey IV.

Spent $500 on them like 6-7 years ago. Never worn them, can't bring myself to ruin them. Plus, being 14 years old, I don't think the air bubble would last long.

I started collecting sneakers as soon as I got my first job.

Went through SBs, retros, vintage, runners, and ended up quitting when I got into Jordans. Soon as I got my holy grails (those up there) nothing seemed to catch my attention anymore.

That and JB just re-retroing everything with garbage materials and "LE" stamps. Dumbest thing I've done was camp out for the DMPs. Spent one cold night outside of Footaction for them, and I never even wore them.

I got 'em off Ebay pretty cheap. There was a seller with 3 size 11s and they actually fit like an 11, although I can't really wear them out in the Seattle weather :(

I've never had good luck with Etnies. They always tore up on me. Personally, I'm a DC guy. My favorite pair ever was my Voltron SE's that I got on clearance for $30 at the local shoe outlet. Sadly, I didn't have a second pair, so they eventually kicked the bucket. :( (BTW, not my picture)

My current pair of shoes is a Converse "skate" shoe actually. They are terrible, support wise, but I added some Dr. Scholls and now they are some of the best shoes I've ever had. Fortunetly, I bought 2 pairs of these bad boys at the local outlet (again) for $30 a pair so now I won't run into the dilemma I had with my Voltrons. (This is my image, NIB pair for when my daily drivers wear out)

I like DC's as well. I'd take a picture of my old ones but they're super busted. They had the DC logo in camo and I matched with fat camo laces.

I have a nice vintage bag collection of mostly coach and dooney's, a nice lucky brand bag collection, and a couple of high-end designer boutique bags.  But since we're talking about shoes, I only have 1 collectible worthy sneaker: my vintage suede Nike hiking boots that is dirty as hell.

Currently using an older model of Haglöfs' boots I bought like three years ago when I went hiking in the mountains. Looks something like this:

Really good for walking (especially with a backpack that weighs 30kg), but currently I'm only using them to get through the snow. :>

Used a couple of ****ty inexpensive suede shoes until winter came. Walked around a lot in those shoes and kind of destroyed my feet. It's been like 3 months since I stopped using them (and threw them away because they were broken), but my feet still hurt sometimes because of them. That's what you get for being "economical" in this country I guess. <:

I have too many pairs of shoes to even put pictures up of.. main ones I wear are Converse or some Nike shoes.

Halverson, I saw a pair of those shoes the other day for $200. I was contemplating getting them but didn't want to be stuck carrying them around all day as I was away from home.

I mostly wear a pair of black and white Converse shoes these days, I have a pair of really good topsiders I wear during summer though. Been looking for some Palladium boots as well, don't really want them enough to order online, but so far I've only found them in one store, and that store only carried the women's boots. I'm fairly picky about my shoes, actually. The only pair in this thread I could see myself wearing are Batmann's Vans.

note: last pair are actually my original pair but last summer after very many years of use the foot bed crack and since all the tread was gone off the bottom I had the sole and foot bed replaced.

All right, lets show a few off.

Cement Jordan IVs (1999).  I actually had a pair of these as my first pair of Jordans senior year of high school (this is a different pair though).

With the good stuff on the back, (which they are about to start putting on the back of some retros).

Signed / personalized KD3 All-Stars.

Kobe V 5 Rings.

LeBron VIII 112.  These were never released and are super limited.

So here are just a few pairs.  I have a lot of LeBron VII's which are all super rare and never released as well, will have to post some of these.  Will add some more pics in the near future.

Ah, the infamous NT. I never really went on that since I was pretty new to the game when I started, so I started off on NSB as a forum, with Jordans as my first shoes.

Verbhal, that's some legit kicks! I wish I kept collecting. Maybe when I get a better job I'll get a few of my grails and I'll be finished again. I want to collect all the Solebox NB 1500s, and the Colette 1500s. Something about those shoes amazes me every time I see them.

That's really cheap for that pair (well any thing LV really), unless Ukraine pricing is a lot different then other places, iirc the retail price on them were $980 or something close to $1000 +/-

If it is then I really need to swing by Ukraine! I get a free trip from the savings

Yes Ukraine pricing was (is?) a lot less on many goods, also same for some other countries like Romania that may still be considered as emerging market for certain things. I think I also bought them at the end of the season on mark down. It's been quite awhile so I don't really remember.
