Today i introduce a new color combination for GMK . It is called GMK Photo Studio(GMK PS). This color combination is designed by WenJie. He has launched a Photo Studio in SA profile.

the SA PS happened.
Many people would be fond of the classic color combination, thus another dude (Chocolate) helps WenJie promote this GMK Photo Studio and provides me the 3D render for IC.
This color combination is polled at the second place currently at: http://www.zfrontier.com/vote/24. The first one is ConyWang's GMK Andes Mint.

1.Some people may ask me to add some modifiers. feel comfortable to provide your suggestion here and i will discuss that will Chocolate and WenJie.
The two guys are very approachable and easy to talk with.
2.The three colors in this color-way has been decided already but doesn't rule out a bit modifications on color combination. The novelty is at the same situation. The three colors are customized from GMK

3.Schedule: if there are enough interest here, this GB will be launched at about Feb, 2017.

PS: there will be too many very wonderful and creative color-way GMK GBs happen in Q1 2017 such as yuri , terminal, plum, and so on .GMK photo studio don't want to clash with these great GBs. I will choose to launch it at an adequate time. Feb , 2017 is an approximate time and has a possibility to extend to Mar or April .

These new novelty keycaps will need to create new molds and the custom color is a bit higher than common color.
zfrontier , the first GMK authorized distributor in China, will discuss further with GMK to lower the price as they can as possible.

I just want to say also that Shower_King/zFrontier is on point. That last Dolch set was shipped fast, people were super happy and the packaging was killer. I was very lucky to get an extra set. I'm very excited about this! Great job!

Nice colorway and novelties.

These might not map to key bindings in Photoshop or some other image editing software, but they look kind of purposeful.
Also, I don't mind about AltGr, but why going with it if there is no ISO?

Adding 65/75% support would be very simple, and I think a good investment as these are becoming very popular (like 4 75% group buys and several 65% buys in the past couple months alone with more coming). All it would take is minimum 2 additional keys with an R3/4 home/end. Some sets use 3 keys with an R4 end, R2/3 page keys.

I was not asking specifically for ISO support, but more wondering why 'Alt Gr' was included instead of 'Alt' on this ANSI US keyset. As far as I know, the ANSI US layout has no Alt Gr keycaps.

Yes but they'd be FN,+, or numpads. True support for 65/75% literally only needs two more keys. Negligible price for huge compatibilities increase considering the number of 65/75 releases recently.

As mentioned in the first post, this is up on zfrontier.. and they've been running A LOT of caps already. 4 GMK sets in group buy in the last month, and several non GMK sets. I would follow the link, vote for this, and there's a good chance they'll run it.

I like the color combo a lot, However, will there but options for packs? Having a 60% I see no need for a lot of those keys and I personally could do without the graphic keys myself. Other than that GMK is awesome color combo is perfect for the build I have in mind.

I doubt it. Gmk has high moq numbers i believe so that doesn't lend itself to having a bunch of small kits as none of them would end up getting produced.

Well pretty sure that wasn't his choice, seeing as there isn't sufficient interest to meet the 250MOQ that GMK requires. Probably jtk has a lower requirement and being cheaper more people might jump on for the interesting colorway.

i thought they looked pretty nice in JT Royal Purple Keyset. You can search the web for this set.

Yeah, that definitely doesn't look that bad. I was just hoping for some close up shots. Maybe something comparing their legends to GMK side by side. I really like this color scheme... but I want to know what I might be getting into first.

i guess they shldnt be too bad. someone on the web said they were good if not better than gmk though i have my reservations about that. You can try googling for reviews on jt keycaps. It's still a win I think that JT produces this since we get to have it cheaper and no fear of not meeting moq.

Some jtk sets have decent legends, others are ****. Don't think any stand up to gmk. There's also injection issues with the stems. There's a reason they're half the price.

From what I've read, JTK are constantly improving the legends with each new batch. I've seen a set of black on beige JTK keycaps in person, and they are really nice. (I am a connoisseur of original Cherry keycaps and to a lesser extent of recent GMK keycaps).

GMK legend consistency is not great either: very bold M relative to the normal N next to it, for example. B is on the bold side. Plus all the light colored keycaps I've gotten from GMK so far--other than older WEY keycaps--have pretty bad LED light bleed-through.
