Been to work. Had an argument with a senior member of staff for something that wasn't my fault. Home now. Chilling with Pikachu the rabbit.

Gonna play some BF:Hardline soon.

I've been called Jeoffrey or "Mr. Baratheon" at least twice both tonight and last night.

No, actually the first encounter ended really well. The others just got me free drinks, there is now an entire frat that calls me Jeoffrey.

Selling Bro Caps above original retail price is bad, mmmkay.

I sold it at cost ($40 shipped) to pay for my part of tuition, I'm still at the point where I won't ask my parents for money.  :thumb:

I was talked into doing an hour and 3/4 session in the gym with a PTI friend of mine.

An hour and 3/4 on legs. And now I'm sitting down for 12 hours at work. It's not going to go well in the morning.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

It's going to **** with my head so bad that I have an Android and iOS phone.

No joke, it will.  I have an iPhone and Android tablet, and something as simple as typing trips me up every time.  iPhone backspace is upper right, Android backspace is lower right (where 'return' is on iPhone).  Ugh.  Hate switching between them!

Note: there might be some new keyboard change I can make that would fix this, but I haven't bothered to look into it.

Ugh don't remind me, I often have to check how apps look on iPhone when I'm coding the Android equivalent and it does my head in using iPhones after so many years on Android. Can never seem to remember how to go back so I always wind up just hitting the home button.

On topic - today I went to work at 5am because I couldn't sleep, just got home so I'm relaxing on the couch with the air con running full blast. Damn hot day.

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

going to get new glasses and migrate my crunchbang installs back to arch.

coincidentally my hair is also long enough to be tied back now so I can get my glasses keeping in mind that my hair will probably pretty much never be down ever because having hair in your face 24/7 is no way to live

If you see how often companies mess up when something either gets changed because they want to or because they have to, it's not that weird. Though it is not an exact science yet. And it might never be.

Ran into a seagull that wasn't fast enough this morning, grill goosed its tail feathers then it sped up a bunch and flew higher.  Jackass seagulls, lol.

Discovered a giant window in a Mini's transmission.  I knew they're fragile as f***, but not so much in the self-ejecting-parts department.

Then I pulled a VW Vanagon engine out and stripped it to the case. Tomorrow I bust open the case and start cleaning/machining.

Just another day at work, nothing too abnormal.

had another successful interview with a silicon valley employer.

Luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
not really. i'm still confused about what would i do if i'm about to be hired, considering murica's visa policy.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I was going to say, I didn't think you lived in the states. I know we have work visa's, and I think your work can sponsor your visa, right?

I just a couple hours modding my HHKB and Realforce 23UB into 55g, and then converted my Realforce 87UB into a hybrid where the entire keyboard is 45g except 55g in the spacebar, ESC, enter, and backspace.

Absolutely loving how each one feels! Don't know why I waited this long to do it.

Potentially found a great material for using for floss modding F's and M's that is far cheaper per foot.

Said goodbye to my poker, I no longer have any assembled cherry boards and won't until my GON arrives. I guess I'll be topre only for the next two months.  :thumb:
