Can’t wait to see what you get! Wish I lived close so I could come over and drink brews while you open packs!

So apparently there are God Boxes of Unstable, like one in a hundred booster boxes will have 1 foil land in every pack

I wonder if Unstable pricing will ever... stabilize.
Also, I'm wondering if I can get my hands on the full set. Missed my chance from SCG and MD. Didn't have plans to gather the full set until recently.

EDIT: Just found a full set. The rare and mythic variants aren't all included though so I'll have to go to SCG probably or Card Kingdom.
I have to pick up full foil contraptions eventually anyway.

SCG and especially Massdrop are pretty overpriced imo, try TCG Player or

Just opened $100 worth of vintage booster packs and the total card worth was just over $15. I think I'm done with vintage packs forever , that was a huge knock.  :'(

Dominaria looking like a very strong set so far and people are digging it. I just hope WotC doesn't totally tank the sets value with too many reprints (spoiler: they will)

It was a good turnout. I ended up winning two matches and losing two matches, which let me take home 4 additional boosters.  :p  Everyone I played against was polite and friendly and a couple of them even helped me keep track of my triggers lol which is something I've always had trouble with. I tend to build decks with lots of abilities, tapping, counters, etc.

I love the new sagas! I had two in my orzhov deck and they were tantamount to my successes. Highlights of my unwrapping were foil Mox Amber, Jaya Ballard, several dual lands, and five sagas--not too shabby.

^ I'd like to say half of that meant something but other than foils being rare and shiny it does not :))

Winning half your games and getting bonus boosters sounds like a great result though, well done!

5uX0r, bro! If it's any consolation, I got only 1 mythic in 10 packs. It was a planeswalker though so, kinda worth it. Oh, and a beautiful foil plains.

Greetings, Plainswalkers!
Question: Is the mechanic fight the same as having a target creature deal damage equal to its power to another target creature? I used to think that the two Sorcery spells, Prey Upon and Rabid Bite, worked with different mechanics e.g., fight doesn't use damage in the standard sense and so goes around indestructible. But I'm not so sure any longer after doing some research.
Example: I play Prey Upon and have my 1/1 creature token with deathtouch fight target 2/2 creature with indestructible. Will the 2/2 creature be sent to the graveyard?

Fight has both creatures deal damage equal to their power to one another.

So with prey upon your creature can die, with Rabid Bite it cannot.

It looks like both spells have the two creatures deal damage to each other. Rabid Bite explicitly says so. That would mean deathtouch is a useless mechanic against a creature with indestructible, in this case.

When casting Rabid Bite only your creature does damage, it doesn't get hurt.  Prey Upon both creatures do damage to each other (it's designed to trigger Enrage effects)

Indestructable is a separate issue and damage and/or deathtouch will not remove the 2/2 Indestructable creature, you need to reduce it's toughness to zero or less using a 'creature gets -2/-2 until end of turn' style spell/effect.

What do you mean by print-to-demand? Do you mean how the tears of the Modern fans influence what WotC reprints?

Also, War of the Spark set is awesome with lots of good cards that cover a lot of bases/mechanics. A good finisher set for the Ravnica block.

Print to demand means that wotc will keep doing print runs of the set until people stop buying it.

It's a good thing for sure, since usually the summer supplemental sets like modern masters, etc arent print to demand so they dont actually do much to help lower prices on reprinted cards
