What does ANSI red mean? Is that the top plate or bottom base? Or probably the switch plate?

Probably plate colour.
ANSI is a key layout so it's the plate.

No chance of swapping the red ANSI plate or at least buying a different one as well (as extra/on top of the existing kit up for grabs)? I'm in love with these kits but I do need ISO - and prefer neither winkeyless or HHKB layout - so with an extra ISO/universal plate the black 60% would be perfect for me and I'd gladly grab the spot.

Agreed. Delays are always a bummer but we know it's a delay for the right reasons.

My flight the other night was delayed for a bum fuel pump and I missed the last connection for the night. I badly wanted to get home, but also didn't want to go comet in the sky.

Bit of a tortured metaphor there, sorry. However, I am still 100% confident in getting a sweet board from this buy. Xondat, kudos for standing strong and being transparent through the bumps. It's like kickstarter for me, I'm invested in the project financially and emotionally. I like to experience the whole process and it makes it that much better when I'm building this beauty up. Anticipation is half the fun, right...?

It's SMD from the Zeal 60. Two very subtly different shades of green, camera doesn't necessarily pick that up.

Dolch would look better out of those two I think.

Any updates on the ALPS plate GB? Also, would a dxf file be released since I'm interested in making an SMK/Aruz brass plate to pair with the upcoming Bleach60 PCB. Orange or white MX SMKs would be amazing on this!

Instead of waiting ~2 months for the full China round trip, I can see myself settle for a QC-failed case with damage on the inside of the case i.e. if those exist!
